We chose this hotel for a stopover while driving through Italy and were very pleasantly surprised - so much nicer than an ordinary roadside hotel and reasonably priced. Lovely pool and comfortable attractive rooms. Staff were helpful and pleasant and breakfast was great. Would have liked to stay longer! Would say the restaurant is a little pricey but it was so convenient to have it there and the food was very good and it was a lovely setting out on the terrace. Would recommend wholeheartedly

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. I was sad I was only staying one night. As soon as we walked into the room it was instant awe. The best was extremely comfortable. The shower was different from what I'm used to. Overall, the room was amazing and I would definitely come back again.

We used this delightful hotel as a stop over on our journey north after a stay in Rome. We discovered that the area is famous for the production of Parmesan Cheese, Parma Ham and it's Thermal Spas. Hotel Boomerang is set on the edge of town, our room had views of open fields (and the swimming pool) from the balcony and we were made very welcome by the charming lady owner and her sons. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. This hotel is full of character, not the most up to date fixtures, but all well maintained and very comfortable. Our room did not have air conditioning (some do) but the fan swiftly supplied when we asked kept us cool and comfortable during the night. Dinner served in the dining room was authentic Italian fare, simple, delicious traditional and very nicely presented. A relaxing drink and coffee on the terrace after dinner made for a very pleasant end to the day. We will be returning to the area to explore more next year. There are castles, musical heritage (Verdi lived in the area) and for us the draw would be Hotel Boomerang. This is a family run Hotel, much loved by the owner and her sons and that showed in the way that they looked after their guests.

We stayed here with our two grand daughters for two nights. It was a wonderful experience. When we were there , there were no tourists only Italians. Although the staff didn't have fantastic English they were extremely pleasant and friendly. We ate in the hotel both nights ( something we don't usually do) because the food was delicious, varied and very reasonably priced. There is also a very nice pool.

This is a clean, comfortable, friendly hotel in the small town of Tabiano famous for its thermal waters. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The evening meals of very good home-cooked Italian food were excellent value for 20 euro - four courses... 1st salad, hot vegetables and on one night salmon as a buffet could have been the meal in itself! and you could go back during 2nd or 3rd courses to add anything to your plate, all other courses waiter served to your table - 2nd pasta dish, 3rd meat or fish, 4th dessert. I stayed two nights but wish I'd stayed more. Everyone very helpful in Tabiano, good tourist info office, good delicatessen for local cooked meats and cheeses at top of main street. Tabiano is quite small so nowhere that sells fruit. Easy bus ride to Salsomaggiore Terme for the nearest train station.

This was a very typical Italian hotel but there was a sense of grandeur of yesteryear here. The setting opposite the Bagni St Andrea evoked the taking of the cure in its grand era, and still looks well patronised. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet country lane but we like that. It fronted on to a small grove of old trees and other albergi were in the vicinity. We were only doing a stop over on a long journey between UK and Italy and would have liked to stay longer.. The cost was modest and included breakfast, though we enjoyed the full Italian dinner all couses on offer for a very reasonable price in the evening along with many workers who were very friendly especially to our dog.. Regional, traditional good fare with plentiful vino della casa, lots of choices, no written menu, just what was cooking. and offered. A charming host and would recommend for a really characterful stay.

At the very first glance, the location of the hotel is strange: it stands in the middle of a field, preceded by entrance road, some unfinished structures, and a huge parking. However, it is very convenient for those travelling by car.
The hotel is very new, all the standards and facilities are absolutely up to date. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly amazed with proposal of a soft drink and a sandwich at our chek in. Indeed, this was suitable after a long day of driving etc. Likewise, we were granted with a bottle of mineral water on our check out. The food was good; you may preapare a hot toast for the breakfast, a rare service.
For some reason, our GPS did not accept the street number 53/a. You should follow the shields, which are perfectly visible from the main road.
In any case, the hotel is worth every penny you pay for it. And a beautiful sunset was for free every evening!

I chose this hotel based on its closeness to the rail station and the price, but was very pleasantly surprised by how excellent it was. The room itself looked like a poorly painted child's room. The worst part was that I could hear everything that was said and on the TV in the rooms around mine. I couldn't sleep until 2am when my next door neighbor finally turned off the T.V.
The lobby was a strange looking museum with various antiques that did not fit the decor. This hotel needs a make-over with an interior designer and some sound proofing added. Also the location of the hotel was far from Parma and other sites.
