This is a trendy boutique hotel not far from the University District in Barcelona. At check-in, the staff didn't seem very friendly, but everyone else we dealt with after that was very nice. The decor is very trendy. The rooms made good use of somewhat limited space, and seemed to have been recently renovated. Seemingly good food options right in the hotel, but we didn't eat there. A Metro stop is about 2-3 blocks away. One word of warning: Don't stay here for the view! It's a very small, low-slung hotel, and our window merely gave us a view of another building across an alley.
Overall, we were quite pleased and would stay here again.

This was a lovely apartment close to the beach and a big shopping centre, with its own pool. There were good facilities, but the lounge area was uncomfortable because the only couch was also a fold out bed and was uncomfortable as a bed and as a sofa! Baclony was great as was the kitchen. Staff very helpful.

A great hotel. Very comfortable. Nice rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. It is slightly outside the centre but that was actually quite nice. It takes no time at all to get into town. I would definitely recommend it to others.

"Smart apartment hotel in middle of Gothic quarter"
Although hotel has no restaurant or bar, this is not a problem given its location - plenty places to eat and drink very close which is usually better than staying in anyway if you are a tourist. Nice rooms which are clean and comfortable. Rooftop terrace has small pool and sun lounging area. Helpful and friendly staff. Short walk (5 mins) to nearest Metro station. Beach and older part of city within walking distance, easy to use public transport system to go further afield.
Overall a great hotel for a city break.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Feel at Home Hotel last week and have to say it was the most nicest of welcomes we've ever had at a Hotel, and we've been to over 40 hotels. The stay was so brilliant that I am now writing this review, which I have never felt compelled to, until now.
We arrived via the Eurostar late at 9:30pm, and I think they closed check in at about 8pm. They called us the day before to inform us that because we are arriving late they will actually stay open later and show us round the Hotel and into our rooms, all in extra hours when they should have stopped working. This shows how welcoming they are.
The apartment itself was perfect, very spacious, comfy beds, relaxed feel and felt very at home within our first day.
The Hotel also felt very secure thanks to the card system to get into the Hotel.
The two guys who worked at reception were perfectly helpful, leaving notes on the bus tour map for us to get off at places we must visit, train information, bus prices, where to eat and so much more.
Being yards away off La Ramblas too was a big bonus but the help they provided told us some lovely restaurants to try down the side streets which we may not have found if we didn't ask.
We will be coming back to Barcelona soon, and will stay here again in a heartbeat.
It is a brilliant Hotel :)

A gentle 30 minute walk into the centre of Barcelona, we had a lovely stay at the Emilia. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, as we navigated our party round the city making best use of the Metro, and the bus route. We enjoyed the tourist open bus, which took two routes and allowed us to decide which attractions we would like to re-visit.
Should we ever return to Barcelona, we would certainly stay at the Emilia, and would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends.

Great apartment, lots of space, clean and modern. High standard of finish. Located in a great spot of town perfect for going on a run down the Gran Via or up to Montjuic. Made a great trip. Lots of good food and local vibes. Far away formt he hustle and bustle of the tourist trap that is the Ramblas! Loved it and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel staff made us very welcome on a cold and wet weekend in Barcelona. The hotel is in a quiet location and we were easily able to visit everywhere by foot or on the metro. There was a huge selection at breakfast and on the one evening we ate in the hotel, our dinner was more than acceptable.
