“We want to go back to Antigua and Jolly Beach Resort!!!”

The property was beautiful as well as the beach. The facility was great, the food was good and the staff were all very friendly, helpful and fun!!!

“Lovely, relaxing resort.”

Our experience at Jolly Beach resort was fabulous. The hotel is located right on a fabulous beach, complete with turquoise blue waters and fine white sand. Our room was not 4 star deluxe - but it was comfortable, and had everything we needed including a fantastic view of the beach. The food and drinks were delicious and plentiful. And the staff were friendly, helpful and good-humoured. The entertainment was excellent and had a strong local flavour. And.. most of all.. Jolly beach was the friendliest resort I have ever visited. People were relaxed and chilled out and enjoyed chatting on the beach, at the bars and during the evening events. We enjoyed meeting and spending time with other guests from all around the world, and made some new friends who we hope to keep in touch with. We absolutely loved Antigua: it was far less commercialised than many other Caribbean islands we have visited. It is green, pretty, relatively unmarred by high rises and retains its caribbean culture and identity. I would highly recommend Antigua and Jolly Beach :o)

“Would LOVE to return!!”

We just returned from a spectacular stay at Jolly Beach! We LOVED it! The beach is absolutely gorgeous, and we spent most of our time either there or by the pool. We had a King Superior room, which we found to fit our needs.,You will not spend much time in your room! As an all-inclusive, we were a little worried that the drinks would be watered down or that the food would be basic, boring, and bland. This was not the case at all! Our food and drinks were spectacular! You must try Lydia's, it was our favorite restaurant. We got married at Jolly Beach, and everything was absolutely perfect for us! We truly could not have asked for more. Personally, I think that the people who are complaining about food or service on here must be looking for reasons to complain or somehow instigated rude reactions from the staff, because we thought the food and service were both excellent! We tried wind surfing, kayaking, pool volleyball, and water aerobics while at the resort. All were very fun, and completely included. We also went on a catamaran/snorkeling excursion that was very fun. The evening entertainment was greeat, in fact we stayed on the resort to watch the entertainment every night. You really should try Jolly Beach! We are already tyring to plan a return trip!!

“Honeymoon Destination”

I don't know if it was just because we were on our honeymoon or not, but we were treated like royalty. The beach is, by far, the best on the island(we toured the entire coast, and saw this for ourselves) because of its grooming and the view. Everything you could want in a tropical vacation was included for free(besides motorized sports). The entertainment was great. We danced practically every night and walked the ocean by moonlight afterwards. Any drink you can think of - they made it. Definitely recommended.

I was concerned by some of the negative reviews that Jolly Beach Resort recieved. I am very happy to report that my wife and I had a terrific vacation and are planning to return to Jolly Beach in the future. If you are seeking a beautiful, uncrowded beach and plenty of good (not great) food and drinks then by all means go to Jolly Beach Resort.

“Great Place in Antigua”

This resort was such a great place to both relax and be active. The property is beautiful. There are pools with a swim up bar, activities, the hotel is right on the ocean and the hotel lets you rent any "non-motor" equipment for free. My friends and I went kayaking and they have sailing lessons, paddle boats, etc. The staff is extremely friendly and at nights they have fun events ranging from karaoke to live bands to calypso dancers. There was a wide range of people on the trip and it was a great resort, clean, and really good food. The only recommendation is to make reservations in advance for dinner because the popular restaurants fill up fast.

My husband and I had a great time. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The beach was beautiful; we spent most our time there. The drinks and food were perfect. Overall it was a great experience! We are definately going back and may even take the kids next time.
