Pros: Good layout of site especially restaurant. Always cooling breeze blowing giving a great feeling although actual air temperature around thirty
Cons: Main access road to the resort
Location: English Harbour, Nelsons Dockyard, Devils Bridge, Betty Hope plantation
Food was excellent with menu changing completely every two days

A wonderful gorgeous place.

It was a fabulous place ! Quiet, idyllic, food and service excellent. Pool and beach well maintained and lovely,. Bay has seaweed unlike other beaches in Antigua. Go to long bay for a pretty beach. Nonsuch could use another restaurant for variety. There are activities like sailing and snorkeling and kayaking. But no night life which was fine for us. All the activity is on the other side around St. John. The apt was lovely. A little pricey to stay but worth it. And cabs can take you everywhere, forget Harmony Hall for dinner, we heard so much about it and the food was subpar. The restaurant and bar at Nonsuch was superior. We loved it and hope to return soon !

Just what the Doctor ordered.

Pros: Tranquility, luxurious suites, quaint beach and high caliber dinning.
Cons: A small, beachfront grille would be a great addition by providing a simple lunch and beverage on the beach.
Location: Like most Atiguan properties of this caliber, it is a bit off of the beaten path. Several beaches and landmarks are within a 15 or 20 minute drive.
The entire property was well kept, well managed and an absolute delight all around. This trip was booked for the purpose of being in the sun, fully relaxed, away from the crowds and with some self pampering in mind. Nonsuch Bay Resort provided everything that we had hoped for. Hats off to the chef for the amazing and creative meals.

Winter Getaway

Posted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Relative newness and looking forward to the new additions. Away from the west coast activity. If you want it you can take a short drive.
Cons: The road leading to the resort needs to be paved. (Which will be in the future)
Location: The resort provides you with many avtivities which you can take advantage of. We relaxed and enjoyed the resort and only did a short trip into St John
Looking for a winter break just a three and a half hour flight from Newark, Nonsuch Bay Resort is the place. Only five years old and growing, this resort was just what we were looking for. The one bedroom apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious for us. While we ate our meals at the restaurant, the kitchen provides you with the option to cook and eat in. The restaurant provides an excellent breakfast choice, lunch selections( if necessary) and a dinner menu that changes every 2 days. Thursday is a barbecue with a cocktail hour before where you can meet the other vacationers( who tend to be very interesting from many countries). While the beach is relatively small and does have some seaweed it was fine for our swimming needs and if you fell it is bothersome, there are three infinity pools. The resort also provides many boating and sailing activities. Being on the east coast of the island there was a constant breeze and not an annoying bug to be seen. It was a wonderful experience and one we will revisit.

Absolute Paradise

Posted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: The apartment, view and just about everything we experienced exceeded our expectations. The sunset sailing cruise was fabulous.
Cons: The restaurant could offer more reasonable offerings of food. We self catered most our meals.
Location: The location is very private and remote. We rented a car and went to two other beaches Long Bay and Half Moon. We also took the Green Island trip.
The experience with Non Such Bay Resort was absolutely perfect. The staff, facility, location combined to make us feel we were in paradise.

Great hotel for young families.

Posted Feb 4, 2014
Pros: The hotel was well appointed, well organized and quiet. It was perfect for families and older couples.
Cons: It would be nice if there was another restaurant - although there was talk of adding a restaurant to a second development on the same site.
Location: The location is a bit remote although there is some new construction in the area. We made only one excursion to Nelson's Dockyard (45 minute ride)
We had a week of relaxation and reading. The beach is small but adequate. The staff were tremendous and the food was very good. There was no nightclub or evening shows which was fine with us. There is a staff dedicated to water activities - sailing, snorkelling, diving and para-surfing. The location is a bit remote and as a result there is no grocery store nearby although the apartments included extensive kitchen facilities. Experienced guests picked up groceries on their arrival at a store near the airport. Others returned to this store during their stay. There is a small store on site stocking a very few basic items.

Nonsuch Bay Resort

Posted Feb 3, 2014
Very nice place. Beautiful, everything new, well kept. Expensive. First rate restaurant, but no other food options. Most people don't want to eat in high-end restaurant every single night. Not enough usual amenities that you get in other places. Maybe just a little too quiet. The place is beautifully landscaped, but extremely remote and away from virtually everything. Need a car or get a taxi to do anything.

Beautiful resort on the beach

Posted Jan 2, 2014
Pros: We loved the beautiful and spacious rooms with the laundry machines in the apartments and the on-site activities.
Cons: Our stay was wonderful. We wouldn't change a thing.
Location: We should have rented a car. There is not much close by to the resort, so it is difficult to do anything off-site without a car.
The Nonsuch Bay Resort is beautiful and comfortable place to stay. The rooms are apartments with kitchen and laundry facilities. We had a very large bedroom with ensuite and a separate room for the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The living room was very large and all of the furniture looked like new. One side of the apartment had a wrap-around balcony overlooking the bay. The food at the restaurant was great but pricey.
