“The House at Willikies was an interesting stay. If you want to stay somewhere authentically Antiguan, with home decoration and a real home experience this is a great place. The property is large to UK standards and the grounds are immaculate. The views and sea access were the absolute selling point for me - stunning!Some of the downsides for us were unfortunately outside anyones control - we came in July and arrived during a particularly hot heatwave (yes in Antigua!), the property was stifling……

“We rented unit D I believe, which is at the bottom past the pool. It is the closest to the water. This is a studio with a comfortable queen bed. The bathroom is lovely with a peek a boo view of the water- nice treat. At night with all the lights off you can see so many stars and the moon perfectly. There is a simply equipped kitchen but great for the basic cooking. There is also an outdoor kitchen by the pool which has a gas grill, sink, stove top and fridge. Pool and hot tub were stunning and……

“Great location if you like peace and tranquility. Near the wonderful Half Moon Bay beach, which we think is one of the best in Antigua. You definitely need a car if you are coming to Nonsuch as nearest town is 30 minutes away for groceries. Safe, secure beautiful resort.The villa was perfect and the host was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with both before the holiday and throughout our stay.Have no hesitation in recommending the house, host or resort.”
