"The place was perfect for a two day trip. It was clean and had a great view of the little lake and fall colors. We were able to cook breakfast on the electric griddle provided, however, we were not able to grill the steaks we had planned because of no way to clean the grill. No problem, though, we just had an authentic German meal out instead."

"The home is spotless. It lies about a block south of Historic Main St. The Missouri River is a quarter-mile away. Freeway access is convenient. The apartment is the rear unit of a duplex, so it is very quiet."

The area is really quiet, and outside from the Pinckney Bend Distillery there are not many activities you can do in the area. It does serve well as a place where you can easily go to Hermann or Washington (about 20 mins driving distance)."
