The first time we walked everywhere and this time we had a rent car. Both were good experiences but to be honest, we are getting older and the rent car was much better. "No frills hotel with very basic communal kitchen. I stayed for a few days and the bathroom bin was never changed ("staff aren't allowed access to rooms while being rented"). No bath mat. I thought it was overpriced for what it offered, but Boquete is expensive for accommodation."

"In the very heart of town. Tons of very good restaurants tours and a new beautiful grocery store a block away. The staff are EXTREMELY helpful and kind and are here most of the day.The owner is AMAZING!!!Anything you ask for she provides. The only problem is it's on a major roadway and the cars race along all night without mufflers and loud music."
