Our room was absolutely stunning with a very large balcony and large windows overlooking the ocean. We could hear the ocean waves and every morning we got up at 5:30 in the morning to listen to the birds and enjoy the sunrise. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner is this So Cal Buffet, and the quality of the food was horrible. The food was cold, cheap, disgusting and even hard to even look at or swallow. The people next to the table even called the food ‘’ass’’. And I totally agree. The lunch menu was fine, totally what one could expect but still it was horrible. The dinner menu was very delectable, especially the traditional Costa Rican menu, the soup was delicious and it was a great meal. But don’t get me started on the staff at the buffet, the receptionist was really friendly, the waitresses too, they did their duties greatly. Some of the cooks had a bad attitude, they were dry, rude, serious. We were trying to reserve the sushi restaurant for a whole entire day, we tried to contact staff to help us reserve but they always told us that we needed to talk with the woman there. Still she was never there, we arrive there when she was supposed to be there and she still wasn’t there. When we arrived to the sushi restaurant, the food was salty and very hard to swallow. The customer service was awful in some parts of the hotel, some were nice but some weren’t even welcoming. This all-inclusive hotel isn’t worth coming from, we would never come back here ever again!"
