Something out of the 1970's

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: The location was good
Cons: The entire motel wing needs major renovations and upgrading
For $170., even near a national park, I expected something newer and nicer than a unit that hasn't changed since at least the 1970's. The unit was dark, old furniture, cumbersome toilet/tub room, and the beds were the old spring mattresses that you could use as a trampoline - springy but hard. Every noise that took place outside was very loud inside due to the ill fitting doors and thin walls. We were lucky if the front desk answered a call. The staff were ok. This was supposed to be a Best Western Plus. What a dissappointment.

Hotel close to Bryce Canyon

Posted May 1, 2015
Pros: close to Bryce Canyon
Location: Ruby's offers about anything you could want to do while in the area.
Very large facility near Bryce Canyon. Huge gift shop and multiple activities available close by. Room was clean and food in the restaurant was good. Everyone we encountered was courteous, pleasant and helpful. We were early in the year for some of the entertainment. Would recommend

Nice hotel close to Bryce

Posted May 1, 2015
Pros: It is right next to the park. You can take the shuttle or drive. Resturant is excellent.
Cons: Nothing on my list
Location: Bryce Canyon
Easy check in, nice room. We had a room in the Elk building facing the lake or pond, much better than in the main building or facing the parking.

April showers

Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Quality of the room and the price.
Cons: Check-in was slow as a tour bus had just arrived. No bar?
Location: Wonderful opportunities to hike in Bryce Park
We had a lovely room, very clean, and with a view of the lake. The room was quiet so finding the car clean from a series of night-time showers was a surprise!

Hôtel très décevant pour le prix

Posted Apr 26, 2015

great location, decent overall value

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Location and overall value.
Cons: Foreign restaurant help needs to learn what good service means.Americans were great. Little pricey no salad,Bread if you ask. PPV movies were lousy
Location: Close to Bryce. Hike and site see. Old west shows had not started for the season but could be fun to see.
Nice area and stayed two nights.Great if traveling through and want to see Bryce.Went to two breakfasts and two dinners. Restaurant was pricey at dinner when you consider no salad with the meal. Diner next door was not open yet. Had two great american waitstaff but found most others foreign and really don't understand good service. First time at breakfast we were set down and left with no contact for 5-6 minutes. I was ready to walk out.. They were not very busy. Once we had coffee and food there was little follow up and we were rushed with the check. At dinner the American waiter was great and we bantered about Ales while I willingly drank more :). Cable company PPV choice was lousy and it looked like 480 dpi. I know this is an expensive upgrade for hotels but once used to HD it is hard to watch anything else. As an early bird I could not get coffee before 7 am in the gift shop or 6:30 in the restaurant. I never use the room coffee makers. Still overall decent and worthy.

Best location

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Location, facilities, restaurant
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Bryce Canyon right outside their door. Perfect place to stay when visiting the Park.
This complex is immense and at a perfect location to the park. The history of Ruby's fits right in with the history of Bryce Canyon Park.
