"Motel was decent and affordable with good quality room at affordable price. I would have rated the friendly service higher but was surprised by the demand for a cash deposit of 100 dollars to secure the room. They would not accept a credit card deposit. Only cash. An unpleasant and unplanned and probably unnecessary surprise. I questioned desk manager and he said it’s just policy. "

"I had a very nice stay. I'm a little biased as it was my 3r stay there in five years (Coviid stopped two of the years). The staff there has always been very friendly and helpful on pointing out good places to eat or see that are not part of the "touristy" spots. Many of my neighbors took advantage of the cool, lightly breezy weather in the evenings to, sit in the chairs and/or tables out in front of the rooms, to enjoy drinks or snacks."

"I loved the old fashioned antiques. I loved the fireplace! It was an old property but I liked how they made it so cozy & warm. We were very comfy but the bed was super old & my back ached. Decorations & quiet & nice location made up for it! I’d stay here again but there was no breakfast & it’s more expensive than usual motels."
