"What an amazing place to celebrate my mother's 50th birthday! We had plenty of space & really enjoyed the outdoor area where we spent most of our time. Donny was an awesome host! Communicated clearly leading up to our stay & made sure we had everything we needed once we arrived (including ice). Donny takes care of his property & his guest, and we will definitely seek him out in the future."

"We had 17 in the group mostly family and few friends. This place is about 30-min from Uvalde in a remote area by the river. We stayed in the Ranch Lodge that accommodate upto 18 people. Overall, the group enjoyed viewing the Solar eclipse, playing pickle ball, kayaking, s'mores and golf carting. Cyndy, the facilities manager and her partner Pat were extra nice, met our requests promptly and gave us good guidance about nearby restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and the viewing solar eclipse...

"There is plenty of room inside and we loved sitting on the swinging bench under the live oaks. There were lots of birds at the property and we were close to some nice natural areas. The kitchen was adequate although a drying rack for the dishes and repair of the faucet would be good additions. The mattress on the bed we used was average. All in all it is a very nice place to stay."

"The cabin was perfect! Every beautiful detail giving us insight into the life and history of a Hill Country ranch. The grounds with its many bird feeders and wildflower gardens provided a rich experience. We saw about 40 species of birds on the cabin grounds and a total of 81 species including the surrounding areas! Driving on farm roads carpeted in wildflowers was a delightful plus. Highly recommended for anyone - nature lovers or birders especially! A real paradise!!"
