Great locationPosted Aug 17, 2014
We just returned from a 3 night stay. Great location to the water and downtown shops and restaurants. Staff seems very hard working and friendly. Only issue I had was when I called to confirm the man was rushing me off the phone. I had questions. When we checked in the girl was very helpful and answered all of our questions. Bar restaurant staff was great even when busy. Free breakfast was just enough an very tasty. Rooms needed updating. Maybe new beds, frames, blankets, bed spreads were dated and worn. Bathroom was very clean for being old. But location couldn't get any better

Provincetown Inn is truly a gem in the West EndPosted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: See above.
Cons: I have no suggestions.
Location: See above
If you're looking to stay somewhere a little bit more quiet than you would otherwise get staying at a guesthouse in the center of Commercial Street, then this is the hotel for you. The staff there are truly some of the most down-to-earth people I have ever met and it's location is very cozy in the West End. It's far enough from the wild summer days and nights of the A-House and Vault but close enough that you don't feel you've left your vacation.

A sure thingPosted May 28, 2014
Over the years I've been to the Ptown Inn for weddings, funerals, etc. We have local relatives, but when there are too many of us, we stay here. We've tried a few other places and some have not been so nice. However, the Inn is always as charming as ever with great views and comfortable beds. The staff was extremely pleasant and allowed us to check in early as we needed to get to a wake. We were given amenities by the chamber staff as well, although we were clearly interrupting their noontime rounds. If there were any minuses, I would have to say the dining room could be a tiny bit better. The included breakfast was tasty, but some of the fruit was past its prime and a few of the tables were sticky from syrup.

Only good for its locationPosted Apr 28, 2014
The rooms are outdated, small and not very clean. The location is great because you are right on the water. This is an Inn and Motel combination. I hear there is a new section and an old one. We were definitely in the old one. There is a weird musty smell as well.

A pretty decent motelPosted Mar 29, 2014
Pros: The improved breakfast, more comfortable and cleaner rooms
Cons: Not sure about this question. I think it's fine. I almost like it's more rustic feel.
Location: The location for us is fantastic as it is near the jetty which we walk whenever we are in Provincetown and we like the walk into the town itself too.
My husband and I stayed at The Provincetown Inn at least eight years ago and it felt like we were staying in the motel from "The Shining". Maybe it was because there was hardly anyone else there. The amenities were very basic, but the price was good. We decided to come back with our teenage daughter and we found that our room was cleaner and a little more comfy with a TV, refrigerator and way to make tea. The bathroom looked like my grandmothers, but I actually like that look. The breakfast definitely improved with many different items, fresh fruit and waffle maker which my husband loved. So overall, we were pleasantly surprised and will come back. We love walking the jetty too and Provincetown is a favorite destination.

near downtownPosted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: location..views are stunning
Cons: new mattresses and improve the bathrooms so the door can shut
Location: you can walk to the downtown area which is always a hoot. about 10 minutes . wonderful bike trails
the hotel is tired and old..for what you pay for one night i think it is overpriced. it is a nice location of course. the beds have lumpy mattresses with only 2 pillows. Nothing plush here. they do include a decent breakfast but i wouldn't stay there again if i had other choices. the staff is nice.

Great view, nonexistent servicePosted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: It is a cool place
Cons: Fire the cleaning staff
Location: Great location on the beach right outside of town. Ample parking. Shuttle to town
The water view is great. Pool and beach are fine. Great location right outside of town, with shuttle to town. In need of a refresh. The cleaning staff was MIA: The toilet was completely broken upon pur arrival. We had to ask the front desk twice to have our room cleaned after the first night (it was finally cleaned at 7 pm). Water seeped in under the outside door from a rainstorm, so much of the carpeting was sopping wet. Although promised, no one ever showed up to sop it up with a wet/dry vac. After the second night no one ever showed up at all to clean the room. Front desk just handed us fresh towels , and, we cleaned room ourselves. You get the idea. Wow, and at these prices!
