“Best Overnight Stay on Cape Cod”

If you want upscale lodgings on Cape Cod, you will be hard pressed to top the Chatham Bars Inn. Every aspect of this hotel is top notch from the first friendly greeting by a doorman until you check out at reception. All the amenities that a fine hotel should have are available to you here.

“Beauty at the end of America”

I've found a new and wonderful place to stay on the Cape!! P-town Inn has its own beach, a huge pool, a fine complimentary breakfast, new beds and TV's, and a location one dreams about - ocean, sunsets, view unlimited!!

“Fascinating”

The hotel aptly described itself as "a gracious old lady". Historical mementos and explanatory panels together with sea, sand and jetty in close proximity (not forgetting the inquisitive gull on the balcony) added an enjoyable dimension to the usual requirements for bed, bath and breakfast which the traveller seeks. We were comfortable and well fed during our stay at the Provincetown Inn and I would stay there again if ever I get back to that part of the world.

“Great off-season get away”

We never visit the Provincetown Inn in the summer, only off season, when half the rooms are closed up and the place is nearly empty. Then the Inn lobby, with its fireplace and cute little breakfast tables, is cosy and warm, and our room with its view of the windswept snowy beach is perfect for relaxing in our solitude.

“a fine offseason deal”

Desk clerk volunteered to give me AARP discount, though I'm not a member.

“Provincetown Inn - also for streight ones”

Very old but fine. Right at sea. You want to rent a rental car at the airport; else it gets pretty expensive to taxi around...

“Pros and cons”

Good basic place to stay. Great views and sunsets. Long, but pleasant, walk into town for food and shopping.

“Great view & good location”

I stayed here for the Saturday night of Easter weekend and definitely enjoyed it. I paid for a room with a deck and thought it was worth it - definitely a pretty view and I enjoyed sitting outside for an hour or two at night (bundled up since the temps definitely drop and there was a strong wind). The bathroom was extremely tiny with only a shower stall and nonexistant shelf space, but for just 1 night I was ok with that. The breakfast in the morning was nice. I was disappointed that there was no food option at all in the afternoon or at night - the bar is for drinks only and it's the only place open in the off season, apparantly, and the closets restaurant that I found was 1/2-1 mile away in P-town. The walk to P-town was easy though and I had a nice time exploring. Note that I'm sure the experience would be significantly different during the season; the hotel would (I assume) be more full, restaurants would be open, and I can't say whether I would consider it worth the much-higher in-season price based on the size of the room. But for an off-season beach stay, it was definitely worth it to me.

“Nice place!”

What a great place. For the location and condition of the room, the price is unbeatable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. If you are lucky enough to get a view of the water, this is a prime spot to view the sunrise. Only a mile away from the town center, the location is perfect.

“Good time”

This is an old hotel that is in very good shape. Bathrooms are very small and the beds are a little softer than I like. Location is nice. Continental breakfast was very good, Room and surrounding areas were clean.
