What a beautiful, unique building. Full of antiques and feels like going back in time. The ride up to my fourth floor room in the 19th century cage elevator was a wonderful touch. Can’t wait to go back again.
Very nice experience at this historic hotel. Very clean rooms. My one complaint is that we had a room with a fireplace (which was more expensive than a comparable room without a fireplace) but it was just plastic logs with lights. Quite a disappointment when expecting a propane fireplace.
All was great! The atmosphere, food, and rooms were very clean.

It’s a terrible feeling when unable to find parking in a hotel you’re booked especially when street parking allows only two hours.
In addition, with no prior restaurant reservation for dinner is over an hour wait to be seated even down at their basement restaurant.
Very expensive restaurant. Food not great.
Hotel is old, really needs update.
Staff in reception amazingly good!

Love the warmth and lobby’s wood-burning fireplace. Some of the amenities could be updated (EV chargers were broken, the fitness center was messy and missing weights) but there are few inns this charming in New England, and at this price level.
The room was large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff was great. The hotel is a little bit quaint which I enjoy and why I go there. The only issue was the shower took a while for the water to heat up.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious, beds comfy and the charm and history of the inn is truly enchanting.
The room was spotless. There was everything we needed in the hotel. Our dinner at the tavern was incredible and then we went down to the Lion’s Den and had a great time. Every staff member was polite and helpful. The cleaning staff were great.
Wonderful stay in a winter wonderland that evening especially with use of the heated pool and hot tub being maintained! Loved it.
Shops inside were lovely as well, bars & restaurant on-site were fun with quirky decor. Whole hotel is quirky, which is fun!
We had a very nice experience staying at the Red Lion Inn. Our room was upgraded when checking in which was a nice surprise. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the season. We loved the cozy feel of the fireplace in the lobby especially on such a cold day.

Room was clean and comfortable. Antique furnishings throughout the hotel, all spotlessly clean but period correct for the past. Staff were all helpful and professional.
A magical, magical New England weekend at The Red Lion Inn. The room was so warm, the bed and pillows were so comfortable and just the right firmness. The pool and hot tube were open, maybe bring a swimsuit if you are up for a soak in the hot tub on a cold snowy day or night. Check in was a breeze, staff were warm and welcoming.
Highly recommend making reservations at their Tavern or Dining Area.
Several small cafes and charming local shops close by for Christmas shopping
A great place if you appreciate and like history. The lobby is filled with antiques and the porch is great to rock in a chair and sip some wine. Parking is no issue and you can walk to local restaurants and shops.
If you're looking for a classic New England Inn the Red Lion fits the bill. Beautiful porch to enjoy cocktails and coffee. Rustic Inn and dining room as restaurant options. Stockbridge offers other great dining options and shopping.
The room was spectacular! The entire facility was available to us, with wonderful sitting rooms, tables to play games. room service, a pool that is heated 365 days a year, and a history that would blow you away! Dining on the premises and a lovely gift shop.
