"It was an inexpensive room. It had many cigarette burn marks on tub. It was advertised as having a blow dryer and iron at service desk upon request. They didn't have a blow dryer. Bathroom came with a little bar of soap but had to go to service desk to ask for shampoo & conditioner "

"Check in was not good. I had prepaid through Hotels.com and when I got there the guy wasn't able to process the payment from Hotels.com to him and said it was my problem and I would have to pay for the room and get reimbursed from Hotels.com. finally after a while he gave me a room but it was not what I had booked. The room was aweful, smelled bad, what felt like a hole in the floor under the carpet and the door was already wide open when I got to the room. "

We had some family over for a low key celebration, and Mike, the owner, was so accommodating. "Was wonderful, clean, fun, & close to things to do! Only a few suggestions I have is fix the handrail. Instead of a boat paddle put a real handrail in. Its extremely hard to hold onto it at the top of the landing. Also Anti skid strips on the stairs going up. Last but not least put a shade or curtain on the door window that goes out on the small second floor deck so neighbors cant see in. All in all Mike was a wonderful communicator!"
