“Good central location and very clean”

Everything was just fine. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a table for me to do paperwork and local phone calls were free. The breakfast is unexciting, with coffee that was weak, nothing but sweet cereal and muffins and pastries, but for a great location near downtown Chico and a reasonable price this hotel was perfect. There are many nice restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute walk, and the town square is a few blocks away. The highway is also easily accessible. Staff were helpful and friendly.

“Good for money's worth”

There where minor details as the bathroom door not closing and when showering there being a partial amount that did not go over the head. Other then those minor details that I worked around it was pleasant to stay there.

“Make sure you take your reservation confirmation.”

I booked a non smoking 2 bed room. When I opened the door to my room it reaked of smoke. The hotel clerk said I booked a smoking room. I said I never book smoking. I asked for a non smoking room and the only one they had was a one bed. I was dissapointed because I was up there to see my son at college and he was going to stay with me. My hotel confirmation did say non-smoking.

“Lumpy Bed / Car Damage”

The hotel was clean, but the beds were lumpy and the room severely needs painting and overall updating. Disappointed that my car was hit in the parking lot and the front light was broken. No note left or real recourse to identify who did it. However, I guess that's not the hotels fault, and I doubt if a guard would have helped.

“Hotel needs to be updated and FABREEZED”

The no-smoking room smells like smoke, the hotel is outdated and needs to be renovated. Just didn't have a clean comfortable vibe.

“Misleading hotel. Not recommended.”

The front desk gentleman was a very nice and helpful man. The outside of the hotel is very misleading. I looked at it with google earth from the street view and it looked newly painted and up to date. However the inside of the rooms were not updated. Small, dark, smelled bad. Some of the doors to some of the rooms were dented, as someone had kicked and punched them. Sheets were clean. So was the bathroom. But overall it did not feel clean and fresh. We could not wait to get out of there. It may be a "No tell hotel". Yuck!
