The worst four stars hotel I never ever stay in my whole life. The mattress was too old to support and four pillows were too old to use. For only two days staying, my neck and back didn’t feel good at all. I payed over 1K for two days, it completely didn’t worth it at all. 1:00 pm still have noise in the hallway right in front of my room villa 522. I would recommend not try this hotel at all.

Great property if you don’t want to drive around or see San Diego very much. It’s a one stop shop with a great pool, amenities, right next to a beach and food all around. You can seriously spend a whole day just relaxing by the pool with no worries. Food by the pool was good and priced well. It is expensive but that’s because it’s really a one stop shop so you don’t have to leave.

Property is very outdated… The hotel was not clean and carpet and furniture had stain. The pool was also not impressive, the chlorine was so strong it burned my eyes as soon I entered the hot tub. They obviously don’t have any staff member with the proper training with chemicals or they don’t clean the pool often enough. I like the location but nothing else. Would not recommend this hotel!

The stay was okay. We did find a cockroach in our bathroom one night. Our checkout was the day after the IT outages and our flight by delta was delayed. When I asked the front desk about it, she offered an hour later checkout (by noon) and showed no interest in helping out even though we stayed there for a whole week and spend so much of food and drinks on premise. The food, drinks and service as Solrisa were the highlight of my trip.

Hallways were dirty (food/throwup stains, spiders and spiderwebs every window, crumbs and garbage in halls that were there for several days), rooms were basic and dirty, very basic amenities( towels, shampoo/conditioner- nothing else) and water was $7/bottle. Won’t be returning. Also not enough towels by the pool when we went at 10am. Not worth the money

Property was very well maintained, rooms were beautiful and clean. Food was good. However a lot of the servers were not so great, specially in the bar like restaurant. We spent over 400 dollars there and got treated poorly by one of the servers.

Place was great and clean. I wish we didn’t have to pay $43 for parking a night. They didn’t have complimentary breakfast either and we stayed for 4 nights. Other than that, place is good! Loved the pool hours, I also wish there were strict times for when kids can be at the pool.

Cons: the mattresses are very hard and uncomfortable. Either the mattress or box beneath were also very squeaky which woke us up if kids are moving around a lot. The sound barrier from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor of the beach-view suites is not very good. We could hear the footsteps above us late at night and early morning. The food at the restaurants wasn’t amazing, but enjoyable enough. It was a great weekend but I don’t think we would stay there again. The provided alarm clock in the room also went off at 6 am on Saturday even though no one had programmed it. I think housekeeping needs to remember to reset alarms so that they don’t stay on btwn guests. Pros: AC worked great, beach view was nice, bathroom was big. Pool also very strong.
