I was recommended By one of my good friends to take the kids to this hotel and we fell in love with it. I loved that the pool and lazy river was only 3 1/2 feet. So my daughter can go to and from she don't always have to have one of us with her.

I did enjoy the pool and the poolside food and drinks but during our second day of our stay a bug crawled out of the rug and I did go to the front desk and complained and they said they’d be going up to my room to check it out but they never did. Also, let’s take it back to when I first checked in. The lady at the front desk was super condescending and just checked me in and asked me how many keys and gave me pamphlets with no explanation and gave me “directions” to my room, super vague and mind you this is my first time at this hotel so I’m unaware of the layout of the hotel and the amenities so not super helpful.

The room was really large and nice. But there was no COLD water in the shower. We've never seen that before. Even on the coldest setting it was hot. The water park was nice, but the pools were so hot also. It was during a heat advisory, but when you're in Palm Springs, you probably should plan on that being a reality. If you're charging that much money for a room, make sure people can be comfortable. And if your water park is your big selling point, make sure people don't boil while using it.

My recent stay at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa fell short of expectations. The resort was excessively crowded, which significantly detracted from the ambiance and comfort of all guests. Food options did not live up to the standard one would expect from a resort like this one. Additionally, I was surprised to find that lounge chairs were not adequately available in the water park section, leaving many guests, to make do with uncomfortable wooden chairs. Despite these drawbacks, the highlight for my children was undoubtedly the lazy river and water slides, which provided hours of enjoyment. However, it was disappointing to note that the snack bar closed as early as 6 pm, limiting evening options for guests. Overall, while my children had fun in certain areas, I would advise exploring other options for those seeking a truly relaxing retreat.
