We came for the truck meet in Maggie Valley, the house was only 20 minutes away, and that is only because we had to go down the mountain to get downtown, but it was worth it for the incredible views. "The Swiss Chalet in Asheville was an excellent home base and incredibly convenient to town, yet feels totally private. Nestled up in a hill the city views from the living and dining room could not be beat! We were welcomed with cookies, a guest book, and a cozy, comfy, well appointed cottage. Our dogs were included in the welcome with a fuzzy bed, treats, bowls, towels and blankies galore (even though we brought our own to protect the furniture)!
