"The place is isolated, and very dark,felt scared at night. It is not mentioned that it is only a few meters away from a main highway and trucks are constant 24/7 drowning out any of the peaceful sounds we were hoping for and making it difficult to sleep. The apartment was probably lovely once but it is tired and not maintained very well. I note that the building is for sale and that would account for this. We are in our 70s so unsuitable for us."

"A nice house that has fallen into disrepair. No response to maintenance requests, couldn’t take a proper shower in the luxurious bathroom because the shower head blew apart from air & water pressure. Then had no water at all the following day due to a problem in a downstairs unit. This is hardly a resort as they call it. And access to the beach is incorrect and not honored by the management of that property."

"Good location between Ojochal and Uvita. Driveway into property not well marked, especially at night. Some deep ruts at turn into driveway, so be careful if not in SUV. Mono is a big unit, with nice balcony. Unfortunately, lack of screens on windows keeps it from cooling in afternoons and during the night. Nice A/C for the bedroom. Pro tip: you can walk to Villa Leonor at Ballena Beach Club. For the price of lunch or dinner, you can access Playa Ballena, one of the nicer beaches in the area."

"Our daughter wanted a destination wedding to Costa Rica and gave us 3 months to plan. We are from Alabama. Patricia is AMAZING! She connected us up with the most amazing people: photographer, guitarist, violinist, makeup artist and chefs. I read all the reviews before booking the villa. We rented 3, 4 wheel drive vehicles. All the reviews said the hill is worth it once you arrive at the villa. It is FANTASTIC! Once you open the front door you immediately know you are in a special place:) We also went on excursions that Patricia can help you plan. We went zip lining and I am not brave. It was awesome. ATV excursion, the newly weds went canyoning/waterfall repelling, kayaking, surfing and we reserved horseback riding but it rained that evening. Also, we chose to drive from the San Jose airport. It was 3 1/2 hrs but mainly because you drive slower. The highway was fine. If this helps our daughter thanked us for her DREAM WEDDING! PuraVida❤️"
