Great location for this placePosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: They no longer have the continental breakfast which was too bad
Location: Close to all necessities
Staff were friendly. Stayed more for location than anything else. Stayed here earlier this summer and enjoyed it.

Pretty much what I expectedPosted Aug 23, 2014
Yes the hotel is a bit run down, but it was pretty much what we expected. We wanted a place downtown, on the highway, and within walking distance of the Platzl area. It did all that at a decent rate. Our room was actually much larger than a standard room and that was a good bonus. Beds were comfortable. Overall it was good, and I'd stay again not problem. Good "on the road" hotel.

Very disappointedPosted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: The location was good
This is an older hotel, which is fine but not an excuse for cleanliness. Also it has an ethic restaurant in the same building therefore the smell extends to the accommodations. I will not be staying here again.

Noisy area beside HWY95APosted Jul 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff were pleasant & accommodating however the odour of the lobby Tandoori restaurant spices was overwhelming each time you enter or exit the lobby area & I eat traditional SE Asian food all the time. The bed was very squishy & the only power outlets that would hold your devices cord required a light to be turned on in order for the outlet to operate, other outlets require a piece of tape to hold the cord in the outlet. You cannot enter the building after 11pm without calling he front desk staff. They will tell you there is a parking lot after hours access however it doesn't appear to exist.

Disappointing, not expected from a chain.Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: The only positive i can think of for this hotel was that there was easy access to the small parking lot to the back, through the rear access.
Cons: There should be staff at the front desk or at least within hearing distance of the desk bell. Homemade food in restaurant
Location: This is a ski resort only, little to do out of season. We only stayed for my Triathlon which was in Wasa
We arrived at the hotel and stood for 10 minutes at the front desk ringing the bell every few minutes, only to discover that the guy we passed smoking in the street was the front of house guy (he had watched us walk in and not followed to check us in, just left us waiting- we later witnessed the same happen to a family of 4)- no identify that he was staff at all. The hotel room was incredibly dated with peeling wall paper, a tiny bathroom, no option for tea with the coffee and "tea" selection. The air conditioning kept me awake all night as it was an old loud system. A dog was crying in the hotel room opposite which seemed to have been left unattended. The hotel restaurant- a "authentic" Indian place was a huge disappointment. We were the only ones there and receipt of food was incredibly slow. The naan bread was more like a poppadom- thin, crispy burnt and no flavour of garlic- despite being advertised as garlic. My partners chicken wings had a few that were not cooked through, and the "Butter Chicken" main was chunks of chicken in, what tasted like tomato soup with some spices added- it was not homemade or indeed have any resemblance to butter chicken. Again no staff in any form of uniform. We asked if there was any remote chance of having a muffin or similar pre-packaged goods for our continental breakfast earlier as we had to leave early and the reception man just rolled his eyes in a "not a chance" manner. Overall a disappointing experience.

Good location.Posted Jun 8, 2014
Cons: Quieter room for us would have been appreciated.
Location: Kimberley is amazing. Dinner at Pedal and Tap was lovely.
The hotel is located in a prime location... but it was very noisy.

A TIRED OLD HOTELPosted May 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
Service was good, however road facing rooms are noisy due to single glazing. Beds were comfortable but rooms are in poor repair. Downtown area is almost a ghost town but there is an excellent Indian restaurant in the lobby.

Room and hotel were fine, there were several burn holes in one of the bed covers, we were advised after our arrival that there was a sur-charge for having a dog in the room, that was why we chose this hotel because of it being pet friendly have never been charged before.
