Everyone was great except the mean lady at the front desk! We getting our last Spa treatment and she locked us out of our room. Would not budge on later check out. We Spent a lot of money on the Spa. I would not want this person representing my Properties 🙌

Check in and check out was a breeze. The room on the 3rd floor had incredible vaulted ceilings making the already spacious room seem even larger. Our view was so pretty! Loved the cozy robes.

This property was absolutely beautiful!! We really enjoyed our time there, I went to the spa twice, it was that amazing! The food options were incredible, I highly recommend the pub! The only problem we had was the AC unit light was on the entire time and very bright, aside from that it was overall a fabulous experience!

Although situated in a scenic locale this property is starting to show its age. Our room furniture was scratched, the air conditioner was noisy, the patio and walkways needed a good power wash and the garden was weedy. All of this lack of attention to detail made us wonderful why the room was so expensive.

Pro: The location is convenient and easy to park. We enjoyed the water view outside of our room. Con: We can hear the footsteps upstairs early in the morning and late at night. We arrived around 3:30 pm and the room is not available ( understand the room is 4 pm check in but we stay at multiple other hotels in Victoria this never happened. The next day we requested late check out around 12 and we were told impossible and latest time we can do is 11:30. If you can’t get room ready in 5 hours maybe you should hire more staff? I’ll not return to this hotel in future.

My husband and I have stayed at the resort for four nights. The overall experience was pleasant. However, there is room for improvement. For example, there was toe nails on the carpet when we first arrived in our room, and the mattress was not as comfy as I had hoped.

Love staying at BBR. It offers a quiet and relaxing environment where you can simply watch the ferry come and go or the boats bobbing in the bay. Or you can walk into Brentwood Bay for more dining options, antique shopping or to replenish liquor and food supplies. Dining at BBR also offers options to meet every expectation (fine dining, pub fare or room service). My only regret is that the pool is adults only. I can appreciate the rationale for this decision, but it would be nice if BBR could offer a family hour or two.
