    Cultural Influence

There has been a lot of European influence in Zambia leading to a great deal of urban development. This has led to a great deal of contrast between rural and urban culture. As a result, your tour of the country provides the opportunity to experience both familiar and foreign influences. Corn is the primary staple in Zambian cuisine, and vegetables and fish are also incorporated into the fare. You'll encounter many wonderful crafted goods throughout the country, especially items based on natural materials such as wood and fibers. Baskets, wood carvings, and wire crafts are predominant. When you look for special discount rates for rooms, explore hotels in Zambia that include cultural food options and experiences.

    National Beauty

Victoria Falls was named by David Livingstone, the first European to see the falls. His sharing about his adventures in Africa and of the beauty of the falls led to a great deal of traffic to the area by tourists and traders in the late 1800s. In addition to visiting what is considered by many to be the world's largest falls, you can also visit the nearby town of Livingstone. Don't miss the statue of David Livingstone at the falls. You'll appreciate that Zambia hotels provide you with great prices on the best tours of the attraction.

    National Parks

Zambia provides you with nearly 20 national parks ranging greatly in land and wildlife features. In addition to the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park at the falls, you will find options like Lower Zambezi National Park, a location with a lodge and excellent wildlife viewing on the river. Kafue National Park is one of the largest national parks in the world and great for animal viewing. Book cheap hotel deals in Zambia that include the opportunity to take in some of these popular sites. Reservations for cheap Zambia hotel deal options should be made with weather trends in mind as you will want to avoid the rainy season.

Facilities are very good. I always get a superior room, so I do not expect (or care about) luxury. It's more than adequate, and I feel comfortable and secure.

    "Great Location!"
The hotel was just what we needed! With the swimming pool just outside our door, restaurant and bar few feet away, it was very lovely in the evenings! Staff very helpful, although the bartenders could have been more friendly. The rooms we're comfortable, breakfast buffet very well organized, filled with delicious food! The food was amazing! Great place for the price! I would go back there again!

Beautiful location for visiting Victoria Falls. The hotel has a lovely peaceful ambience with water views. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Rooms could do with a bit of a refresh, but nothing to make the stay unpleasant.

"Loved it and worth the money!"
I stayed at the Zambezi sun for one night and decided to splurge after a few weeks on an overland tour. It was worth the money. The grounds are beautiful (some zebras even grazed by the pool!), there is a gate to Vic falls (saving you the 20 US dollars entry fee). The staff were also really nice, especially the guys at the bar. They also had a marimba band play by the bar lunchtime and they were very cool. Also, the room was lovely and loved the bathroom, nicely decorated. Lastly, keep your door closed because monkeys are around, I had one peering into my room in the morning!
