"We initially booked five nights and decided to extend another six nights. In addition to being convenient to Zocalo where all hop-on buses start out each day as well as a number museums are located, we liked the neighborhood and the number of dining (two great restaurants in the hotel) and shopping options including several department stores and five drug stores. The service was exceptional including front desk, breakfast staff and housekeeping team. Very special mention to Edgar, the concierge, who assisted us a number of times including helping us address a medical issue. He made our trip experience exceptional. The actual building is historic. The rooms are generous and comfortable. We also thought the beds were great. The clients were a mix of tourists and business types. The breakfast was a combination of western and local favorites. Overall a memorable stay. We will return. "
