Wonderful place in the center of centro histórico. Only drawback is the difficulty of getting in and out of the area. Streets are always being closed.

The hotel is located in a perfect spot where you can walk around El Zocalo and explore the area. It’s also in a perfect location if you’re looking for tours that can take you around the city or nearby States outside CDMX. The hotel was clean and the staff were super friendly and the food was great.

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Mexico City. The entire staff was friendly and helpful as soon as we arrived. Not only were there many benefits included, such as the cafe and tourist attractions, but we also had guidance and help booking the attractions and were provided quick transportation to our destinations. My wife especially appreciated our driver, Omar. He was attentive, informative, and prompt, and he felt like a personal driver for the several days we stayed at the hotel. Omar would wait for us at each destination or tourist attraction and then take us to the following location. This made my wife feel safe and comfortable. Omar has impeccable customer service skills, and we appreciate his willingness to help. When we come back, we will be sure to ask for him!

My absolute favorite place to stay in Mexico City. Everything about this hotel is incredible. The location is amazing — right in the center of the Zocolo. The rooftop bar and restaurant is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to, and the rooms are so comfortable.

Zocalo hotel is right in the middle of the central historic district of Mexico City. It’s within walking distance of Museo de Templo Mayor and the Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven. We stayed in one of the 10 suites and throughly enjoyed our room. We were unable to check in any earlier than the standard check in time of 3pm. I only mention this as our flight arrived at 5am and we had to wait for things to open up around the area. The road in front of the hotel was blocked from traffic by police as were many of the roads leading into the historic square. There was a heavy police presence all around the square so things felt very safe. I definitely recommend this hotel. Breakfast buffet is provided at the beautiful Balcon de Zocalo when you are a guest along with a 24 hr cafe in the lobby.
