"If you are looking for up-to-the-minute decor, this is not the place for you. But our hosts' warm welcome and happy atmosphere worked for us. The dinner restaurant recommendation was great (Ye Olde Tavern), our host-prepared-breakfast (eggs to order) was excellent. The beds seemed a little soft but were totally comfortable, the inn was quiet and we slept like rocks. "Checking in was a bit unusual as the clerk wanted to charge the price on my CC even though it was booked through expedia. Had to wait about 10min till he figured out things and then CC was used for secured deposit. Room was given at check in and was clean and made up but was rather small, like a bedroom with a attached bathroom. Wall's are light weight and you can hear voices from next door room. It's good for overnight stay."

"The only decent thing was that it was clean. Broken doors, broken remote, broken lamp, was frightening pulling in with people that seemed to be just hanging out. Maybe they lived there in a room. All kinds of what appeared to be junk all around run down buildings. "

"Amazing! Cannot get a better location! So close to everything! Quick walk to village shops and slopes. Very clean. Lots more room than I was expecting for two big 17 year old boys and parents. Kids had their own bedroom, bathroom and storage area on main floor, adult had master suite with own bathroom upstairs. Plenty of room in kitchen and family room. The only complaint is that hotels hot tubs and pool were over run with too many little kids. "

"We loved our stay at the chalet. It's perfectly situated in the cutest little neighborhood, while also feeling very secluded. The chalet had everything we needed for our stay. While visiting we walked a few of the trails nearby, part of the Valley Trail and the Hoot, Toot and Whistle. They were both perfect for our pups, especially during hunting season. We gave our pups an extra squeeze in honor of Scarlet. Thank you for sharing your place with us! We would love to stay again!!"

"We had a great stay at this cabin and the property. It's everything the write up says and then some. The owner is a true craftsman with an eye for creativity and for bringing the outside in.
