"Beautiful hotel. We were just passing through and this came hotel came up. We were able to get the last King bed room but you couldn’t tell the castle was full. We only saw the parking lot was full, being a castle, it had numerous staircases and an elevator, we saw no one . Excellent water pressure in the good size connecting bathroom. The bed itself was comfy and the room super clean . We would stay here again when in the area . "

"We booked/ paid for this house and when we called for check in process, we were told that the host lives in the house. The host acted as if the listing was taken off vrbo and they didn't know about the booking. I asked about a refund then and they seemed like it wouldn't be an issue. I hurried off the phone to contact the people that were currently en route to re direct them to a new location that I had to hurry and source. This was my wedding weekend, after I figured out where to send people I had no time for anything other than putting the wedding together. So when I checked the app on Tuesday when we got home and there was no communication on this issue, I began to try and figure out what was going on. I was hoping to not have to leave this review. However, there has been no communication from the host after ; I left a voicemail as did vrbo along with a direct email from vrbo on this matter. I spent more than a 2 week paycheck for this rental that I never even saw with my own eyes. We never checked in or arrived to the house even. Yet now I have to fight to get my hard earned money back? I thought I was safe from being scammed using such a proven product. The host finally responded to a text stating that they weren't going to fight this and that I could not get my money back directly from her ( even though that is the process per vrbo - refunds through vrbo must be done before check in) - thank goodness the bank cared enough to takeback the payments!!!"
