Disappointed with no heat in the hotel.

Posted Apr 11, 2014
Cons: Install central AC & HEAT for a hotel!
Experience was a little disappointing because the room was ICE cold when we arrived. We found out later no heat in hotel because the age of the building. So we couldn't warm up the room, good thing it was March, but we still had to leave for hours with the ac unit off to warm the room to a decent high 70's temp. So we paid for a room we couldn't climate control. Rooms were nice looking though.

Good, If Just Passing Through.

Posted Apr 8, 2014
We were just passing through on our long drive to Miami, arrived late at night and left early in the morning. That's about all this hotel should be used for. It's run down, AC was stuck on 67, carpet was damp and shabby, the room was dark and undecorated...I would avoid a long-term stay here at all costs.

Not Worth the Money

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Knowing what you can get for $220 a night at most places, this wasn't comparable at all. The breakfast was sub par and the counters were a mess. Could have used another person for the hordes of people eating the two mornings that we were there. I don't mind staying at medicore places because basically I'm just there to sleep. But when you start paying an extra $100 a night for something that doesn't even compare to a holiday inn express then it feels like you're getting hosed. I understand the market there dictates higher rates but was still disappointed for my bang on the buck.

Delapidated Room

Posted Mar 21, 2014
Pros: The only room that was somewhat exceptable was the bathroom, which appeared to have been recently renovated with new tile.
Cons: Complete reno of the hotel!
Location: Convent location to stores (Walmart) and fast food restaurants.
I have traveled the world and stayed in many third world countries and the facilities were maintained at a much higher standard than at this establishment in Deerfield Beach. The carpet was horribly stained throughout the entire suite. The pull-out sofa was disgustingly dirty and stained. The paint on the doors were dirty and peeling. Additionally, there was no hotel information available regarding breakfast times nor a list of television stations available for viewing in the area. The only room that was somewhat exceptable was the bathroom, which appeared to have been recently renovated with new tile. One good thing that everything worked (hot water, televisions and the fridge).

Close to the highway

Posted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: friendly staff
Cons: A little of everything ????
Location: Nothing to do nearby, its about 10-15 minutes drive to the beach, along the way was a farmers market, drug store, some shopping walmart, target.
This hotel is right off the highway, about 10-15 minutes from the beach. Nice quiet area. Need a lot of work, cleaning, painting, the pool was not clean. Breakfast was okay, lawn were well kept. Staff was very helpful and nice.

Smoky Room

Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was very gonod and the person looking after it was very friendly and caring. He was very interested in doing his job we'll
Cons: Expedia should never offer a non-smoking room if one is not available. There was just no option, that we were aware of, to get a refund for our reserv
Location: Beaches!
We had booked a non-smoking room but when we arrived there was only a smoking room available. The person at the front desk said we might be able to change to a non-smoking room the next day if we talked to him at noon the next day but that would have messed up our day so we put up with a stinky room for two days.

Not like it seems on pictures

Posted Mar 6, 2014
We booked this hotel through expedia, the pictures online are great but once you get to the actual hotel, the rooms had a funny smell, and it looked nothing like it did online. The hotel hallways are dirty, they need a complete renovation ASAP. We stayed one night 02/28/14-03/01/14 and the next day we booked another hotel ,we were supposed to stay there for 5 nights. The staff was great, they only charged us for that one night and there were no cancellation fees. I would definitely recomnend paying a little more for a better hotel!
