Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn

THIS Hotel was great. We had a fabulous breakfast every morning, lots of choices. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean. the beds were very comfortable and the pillows soft. I got a great deal ..we ordered food from the bar ,it was very good. Overall, I had a fabulous time at this place.i

the room is so small not clean enough, the bathroom is so small no vent after shower you can't see enything is so foggy

Close to everything and very clean and close to beach

From reading reviews, I knew that this hotel wasn't modern by any stretch of the imagination. That was fine by my husband and I, as this was only a 2 night stay, and not exactly a vacation for us, but rather tending to some business. I also learned, from reading reviews that the rooms were comfortable, the staff was friendly, parking was inexpensive, and breakfast was complimentary. Sounded fine by us. Everything we read about the hotel was right on point, and overall we were satisfied with our short stay. However, we had two complaints. One was on the day we checked in, after a long morning of traveling, all we wanted to do was unwind before we had to head out again to take care of some errands, this was made impossible by the super loud housekeeping staff on our floor. There were two of them, each cleaning a separate room, about 4 rooms apart... screaming a conversation. It was annoying, and unprofessional, if you ask me. The other complaint was the lighting in the room. There were several table lamps, and one floor lamp, which is fine. But, the bulbs used were those horrible fluorescent types, giving off that high school bathroom lighting feel throughout the room. Not exactly pretty, if you ask me. I received an email, after my stay, from management asking how my stay was, and I mentioned these points. I received a reply that housekeeping was corrected on the loudness issue, and the hotel is going to be undergoing an update. Both points addressed.

The hotel was nice and the staff was pleasent. The food selection aside from the continental breakfast needs to improve but the location is near enough restaraunts to compensate.Also you are very close to the beach so that is very convienent. The decor could use an update but other than that the hotel and my stay were ok.

Great experience yet again, third time at this hotel and I keep enjoying it more and more..

We had a great stay at this hotel. It is a small beachside hotel within 100 yds. to beach. It is a little dated but for the price it delivers quality. Front office staff courteous very helpful,arrived early and room was ready for check in. Jerry & housekeeping staff does an does an excellent job at keeping the rooms and overall hotel clean. The rooms were comfortable and clean included Bath & Body shampoo, frig, micro, coffee maker w coffee. The complimentary hot breakfast is a plus and the attendees were very helpful. The heated pool was clean and comfortable not sure what it would be like in the summer. Looking to revisit and will stay here again.

This is not a fancy hotel, a bit outdated, but the small size makes it agreable. The free breakfast and free wireless Internet make for a great deal and a rare pearl in the area. We really enjoyed being so close from the beach and the kid park. The pool was nicely heated and our son played for hours in it. At the same time we would have loved being a bit closer from shops (Las Olas) and other restaurants for some adult action. In all we would go back as it was convenient.

Staff is very friendly and honest. Hotel is in a great location. It is a little out-dated, but worth the money for the location and staff.

I was looking for a good hotel close to the beach in Fort Lauderdale. Best Western Oceanside Inn had the best value for the price. The amenities were adequate along with a good complimentary breakfast. The cleaning staff did a good job maintaining the cleanliness of the room and replenishing the towels. The location of the hotel was strategically located for easy access to either the beach drive (Seabreeze Blvd.- A1A) restaurants and shops and close to Route 1 and highway 95.
