The bed was very comfortable. The entire place was spotless. Instructions on how to check in/out were clear and simple. The location was prefect. "We loved this totally remodeled apartment allowing us to easily get around York and quickly get back to the apartment during the day and evening. Convenient to groceries and many restaurants. Host was very quick to respond when needed for a minor issue with an appliance."

"I loved staying at this nicely decorated and modern suite in an old cocoa factory. I love quaint and historical surroundings but I also like modern fixtures and fittings to come home to! The kitchenette saved me a lot of money on dining out. The view out of the window of the river Foss and the ducks, geese, and swans was marvelous. "I stayed 2 nights for a friends wedding in the village. The Snug is a nice little place. The accommodation is comfortable and the hosts were superb."

"We had a great family weekend made even more special by the fantastic apartment. Super easy check in details provided prior to arrival and everything you could need was there. We only ate breakfast in the apartment but could have easily made a family meal with all the equipment supplied. "The property was in a residential area just outside of York. Good location to the centre. The apartment is spacious and had everything needed for a weekend stay. The only downside we found the fridge dirty also a bit smelly. But we only used it for milk so it wasn’t too much of a problem. Fantastic French doors which let in so much light in the living room, the parking space is such a bonus. We would definitely stay again."

"The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"It should be noted that this is a very busy road, even though it looks quiet in the photos. It’s quite loud until late and starts up again really early. BUT.. the location is great. You’re walking to everything, shambles is a few minutes walk. Lots of shopping and restaraunts around. The apartment is awesome. It’s a great layout with a lot of separation. The laundry is a nice touch and was super helpful. Overall we loved it and stay again for sure!"
