"We came to visit family and were tired of staying in overpriced, dingy hotel rooms. This place was great. It’s a peaceful neighborhood, with a great view. We had some family over for a low key celebration, and Mike, the owner, was so accommodating. You can tell he truly enjoys this place and loves sharing the beauty and relaxation of it with his guests. He removed the grass and changed it into sand, with beautiful flowers all around. "We had the most wonderful week at the Sandy Hook Beach Cottages. The cottage itself was clean and charming. Opening the door and walking down to the private beach was magical. Location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. Dennis was available for any questions and incredibly welcoming. We can’t wait to bring our little family back again for many future vacations!"

"Great quiet neighborhood, but this is only part of the home (1st floor, basement, and part of the 2nd floor) and the people upstairs are stepping loudly late into the night. The 3rd bathroom is in the basement with no shower curtain and a shower head that must be held during your entire shower. It was the 1 room that was actually dirty and I cleaned it before we used it. Internet info was inaccurate but provided when we requested. TV instructions lacking. Plenty of room for hanging out and...

"The staff was great. Room thermostats worked well. Great views. But the room was incompletely furnished. Bedroom had no nightstands and no reading lighting. TV connection to streaming channel selection was screwy. Passwords were rejected despite being correctly entered - twice (proof is that same pw worked on personal computer). No garbage cans in room at all. Some chain pulled blinds broken. Why locate microwave oven in compartment near floor?"
