Just a lovely hotel in every way. Arriving by boat to the secluded lagoon to the hotel's quayside entrance is magical and sets the tone for everything to come. Great pool, room, service and the shuttle to Venice makes you feel like you are discovering the city every day for the first time. Spent a week here with the family and didn't ever want to leave.

I reached the Lido by direct water bus from the airport and then a 1.30 euro bus trip to the hotel from the ferry terminal. The manageress and her daughter were very welcoming and dealt with a couple of my problems promptly and without fuss. As a single traveller I enjoyed a spacious en-suite room which opened on to a large balcony with views over the Venetian Lagoon. There was a large wardrobe with more than adequate hanging space. however there was a dearth of drawers which proved a little inconvenient. The breakfast was served in a spacious dining-room and was more than filling for full days spent exploring Venice.
It was also a convenient location from which to reach most locations in Venice itself as well as other Lagoon locations. There are also good restaurants, shops and services close by the hotel
I had a most enjoyable stay and may well return again next May.

Staff very helpful-provided all necessary transport and things to do in Venice, breakfast was pleasant, plentiful and slightly varied on both days.
Bedroom kettle seemed a bit dodgy but otherwise facilities fine. Not sure about air conditioning as we didn't need it.
Welcoming to our children.
Would stay again.

Only downside was that it was situated at the furthest part of the Lido and was a half hour bus journey to the vaperetto.
Buses ran every 15 mins though and you were guaranteed a seat as it was near the start of the route.
Hotel, room good, clean, tidy , toilet/showering very clean.
Breakfast was typical continental fare. Ham and cheese rolls with cakes. Fresh and plentiful.
Staff were friendly enough.
There were a couple of shops, minor mini market kind of. Ice cream shop. Three bars, not British bars sadly. Also a resterant where we had meals. Very tasty and about 8 to 10 euros per meal. Oh filling as well.
Must have a transport 24/72 hour ticket for buses and vaperetto. Easy system to use. One and a half hour from Santa Lucia to the hotel. One hour hotel to st marks.

Venice’s beach neighbor, Lido is 20 minutes from San Marco by waterbus. By the late 19th century it was the smartest bathing resort in Italy. Today, the 18 kilometer-long sandbar is still popular with families enjoying the warm Adriatic beaches. The glitzy Venice Film Festival is held in Lido every August - September.
