Stayed for three nights in July. Weather was very hot and the air con in the room was up to it. Room was a bit small but normal for Venice. Shower was odd in that there didn’t appear to be a way of using it without covering the floor. Breakfast was fine but not spectacular. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Great location.

The staffs are amazing and are always available to help. The room has its antique feeling which we enjoy but the queen size bed in the superior room is combined by two twin size beds lol. Also try to avoid the restaurants nearby, you will have a much better dining experience after a nice 10-15 minutes walk.

This was our 5th time to Venice. We stayed for a total of 3 nights. We chose this hotel for its location to San Marco & Hard Rock Cafe. We paid for a basic room to use as a base, we did not require anything fancy. Unfortunately, the room was the worst we had ever stayed, grotty, dirty, miserable, stained very old carpet. Barely room to walk around the bed as it was so close to the wall. Bedding consisted of 2 sheets only. Had to ask for extra bedding as cold on 1st night. Hotel provided 1 small blanket that only covered 1 person. No tea / coffee making facilities. Noticed the Head Board of bed was also dirty. Not enough room for wardrobe so hanging rail with broken hangers. Walls thin & every conversation can be heard from corridor / next rooms & rooms above. Noisy as doors to rooms are heavy & slam shut. If the other guest don’t keep you awake the cleaning staff will from early hours. Bathroom was better than the bedroom although shower cubicle small & broken plastic frame. Continental breakfast was good although restaurant can get very busy in the morning, when everyone is trying to manoeuvre around one another & the tables as it’s a small compacted area. Staff friendly enough & polite. I would personally not recommend this hotel. I have spent less money & stayed at far more superior B&B only 10 min walk away.

Great location. Over promised and under delivered. Gave us a room with little to no air conditioning, in the older part of the hotel. When I questioned this, they did upgrade me to a better room. Staff was helpful and polite. I would not stay there again.

Highly recommend this hotel easy to find a with convenient options back and forth to airport and train. Walkable just one small block to enjoy San Marco Square, Doge Palace and Basilica. Room is spacious, with the right amenities albeit dated it provides the charm of Venice. Stuff is very helpful and friendly. Sooo instagramable with canal off the bar, lobby and breakfast room. Central air works great a real bonus in high season. Good price too.
