Not as expected

Posted Jul 11, 2013
Pros: The staff was very pleasent.
Cons: Check in time and attention to the small details like providing soap.
Location: The train is about a 10 - 15 min walk from the hotel.
We were looking for a place to rest on an overnight layover through London, in that respect we got what we were looking for. Things to note were that soap was not provided in the room. Check in for the day of arrival is 2:00pm, We arrived at 10:00am. The staff on this matter was very accomidating and allowed us to store our bags and even get a quick shower. Overall we had a place to stay, it just wasn't as expected.

"Not a place to stay."

Posted May 14, 2013
Not worthy of its name! The place is not better than a private home passing off as a guesthouse. It is run by one man and one family member. Room I stayed had no telephone. What was called breakfast was a bottle of cornflakes and a jug of milk. I would not advise anyone to stay in this so-called guesthouse.

Great place to stay while visiting London.

Posted Apr 8, 2013
Pros: Location
Location: It's about 5 minutes from the Heathrow airport. It was only a short drive to the city and other areas of intrest.
This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the airport and be only a short drive to London and other attractions.

Lay over option

Posted Mar 21, 2013
Pros: Close to Heathrow and the train to Windsor
Cons: Cab companies charge quite a bit to go the few blocks to Heathrow
Location: A great pub about a mile away,go north to a t intersection go right and at the next traffic circle the pub is on the left. Great food all day!
We had a great overnight stay. It was a short walk to the train station which allowed us a day at Windsor.

A nice place to have a good relaxation

My stay was okay. The only challenge I had was the water from the tap. There are times, when the water is dirty and unsafe for use.

Clean, comfortable, and friendly hotel

Posted Jan 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was en-route from Amsterdam to San Francisco when I got stranded in London Heathrow airport due to snow delays. I arrived at the Guest House late at night; I was tired and stressed, and the hotel owners gave me a warm welcome. They made sure I had a good breakfast and a local taxi back to the airport in the morning. (Airport taxis are much more expensive!) The room was comfortable and clean. Overall, this hotel was a bright spot in a difficult travel experience.

Heathrow Guesthouse

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The room was a little small. The only thing that might be a problem for some people is the airplane noise from Heathrow as the planes go out and come in right over the hotel.

Clean and private

Pros: cleanliness and safe surroundings
Cons: plane noise - inevitable. Not owner's fault.
Location: safe and private
Great BnB. Friendly staff. Plane noise was sometimes unbearable but windows are double-glazed. Rooms are extremely clean. Could not have asked for more really.
