Throughout the country's colorful regions, there are many festivals, dramatic enactments, music performances, and art displays during all months of the year. Whether you want to experience the daily changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace in London or attend arts festivals in Surrey or the Lake District in the West, you will thoroughly enjoy your stay during any season. English weather can be unpredictable, with periods of bright sunlight, fog, and light-to-heavy rain showers during a single day. Temperatures can range from a high of 100 degrees in early August to below freezing in January as Gulf Stream warming via the Atlantic Ocean competes with the country's northern latitude.

    Attractions, Cultural Activities, and Food

London has many exciting sites and venues to enjoy. While there, be sure to visit Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, and Big Ben. Then, take a boat ride on the Thames River to experience a scenic view of the city. If you visit Manchester during July, you will enjoy the innovative Manchester International Festival, offering masterful new works by worldwide artists in music, dramatic performance, and visual arts. Plan an excursion to charming, historic Stratford-upon-Avon, a town on the Avon River in the county of Warwickshire near Birmingham. Known around the world as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, this intriguing place offers exceptional performances of Shakespearean plays on a regular schedule.

In the Cotswold Hills of south-central England, you will relax in the lush serenity of the green countryside while admiring the famous stone buildings and villages. Along with traditional fish 'n' chips, you can sample other English dishes during your trips, including crumpets, deviled kidneys, shepherd's pie, and Yorkshire pudding.

    "Excellent for travelers"
The hotel is very modern, comfortable and nicely designed. Absolutely the best thing is that is literally half a block from Paddington station, from which you can get direct to and from Heathrow, not to mention to the Circle and District LInes. It is also right next to some fine eateries - just across the street from a wonderful Middle Eastern place, Ya Hala. Also some good pubs.

    "Great hotel!"
This is a great hotel, located conveniently in central London providing easy walking to many destinations. Even though it is near Trafalgar Square, it is tucked down a fairly quiet street so noises from traffic and late-night pub patrons is not an issue. The staff is wonderfully accommodating, and were all a pleasure to interact with. Our room had a mini-fridge inside, which was perfect for storing some late night treats or takeaway food from any of the nearby restaurants. I usually travel solo to London on business, but this time I brought my family and it was perfect to have adjoining rooms that we could open and use as a suite.

    "Nice hotel in good location"
Facility was nice, room was clean, breakfast was excellent. Beds were not very comfortable, but staff did what they could to help. TV was ancient, not working well. Bathroom was large and nice. This was the first hotel I've experienced in ages that still charges for internet.

"A decent and conveinient hotel for a morning fligh"
A good 4-star hotel, looks new and rooms are clean and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were super fast. A few minutes walk in a tunnel to the airport. There's only one restaurant in the hotel which I think was ridiculously overpriced specially considering the amount we paid to stay for the night. (Very basic dinner for two with no soft or hard drinks cost 50% of the room rate for 2 + a child in an extra bed).

Staff is always pleasant and helpful... even in the middle of the night. Room was always clean and had all amenities needed. If I had to come up with even one 'gripe' it was that the provided conditioner was difficult to pour. In all the things that matter this hotel is spot-on. It's my second visit with them and I it will always be the place to stay when in Manchester.

"Location was perfect. Breakfast buffet was not bad"
Im glad i chose this hotel because of the great location. Very close to the only mall in birmingham. Staff at reception were nice, the ones at breakfast were a bit lazy. Always something missing from my table and had to ask for each item. A hotel with no bellboys! I had to carry my own luggage in. And when leaving i asked reception to send someone to take my luggage down. The reception lady came herself with a trolley! I cant carry luggage, and it made me feel bad that another lady had to do it for me. Room service was not bad. Cleanliness of room was not bad. They need an interior decorator tho, too many different colours in 1 room. Our view was great. Only 1 small sofa in reception. Need more seating in that area! Housekeeping ladies were always nice and helpful. The showergel and shampoo in bathroom stinks, make sure you bring your own.

"Very Good value for money. Clean, good location"
Very satisfying. We had to attend a ceremony at Warwick in the morning so to avoid travelling in the early morning traffic rush we decided to stay overnight at Coventry. This was the best priced hotel for a family room. 2 adults and a grown up daughter. The room was spacious and reasonable with very decent ensuite. Iron with ironing board, tea coffee making facilities in the room and Plenty of clean towels. Our price also included continental breakfast which was good. What else could you ask for under £50 a night!
