This could be a nice property but whether it is due to COVID 19 or other factors, it is lacking somewhat. The grounds are nice and the 4-mile circular bike route is a treat, but too many other factors need to be addressed.
Calls to Room Service, Guest Services and even the Operator(!) ring endlessly and go unanswered. The main restaurant, The Glasshouse, has a very limited menu of relatively bland food and a weak wine list. We stayed in the West Wing and, while our room was very spacious and well-appointed, the hallways are lined with terribly designed closets featuring large protruding hinges. Like so many aspects of the hotel, this could have been done much better.
