My third trip to Royal Solaris, the first two were "EXCELLENT" service overall. My third time was totally different due to the Huracan Odile, very difficult situation, no water, no power but we were so glad the hotel still took care of all the guests eventhough the hard and difficult circumstances. I will come back.

Worst hotel!!

Posted Sep 5, 2014
From check in to check it out it was nothing but disappointments! When we checked in the room was booked incorrectly and they would not honor the price on the upgrade ! I wanted oceanview...got poolview.I asked for the upgrade I was promised and they said I had to pay $250 more than original charge. After an hour of arguing we finally get to our oceanfront room and I do have to say our room was beautiful !! Went to pool bar and the staff was nice but all inclusive cocktails were in 4 oz cups lol and very poor alcohol was used. We went to every restaurant on property, the wait staff was rude and slow and the food was very poor quality. It was as good as school cafeteria food. We had such high hopes to our first All Inclusive resort. We were expecting better quality and standards and we were highly disappointed!! Unfortunately, we will never recommend this hotel nor return for a 2nd visit. Think twice before booking at Royal Solaris Los Cabos!! 😳

The experience

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: The staff
Cons: Find better chefs! Please!!
Location: Love the location. Pretty accessible to everything.
I have been to several all inclusive over the years but the food at this hotel is pretty bad. The selections are very limited. Thank god for speciality restaurants I ate there twice during my week long stay. I also ate at restaurants outside of the restaurant. The omelette stations were very limited. If something ran out that was it for the day. I am talking about 9 am. The staff on the other end was terrific. If I needed something for the room they were very responsive. At breakfast Ivan at breakfast was vert attentive. Ventura at the pool side was great. And Danya at the front desk was very professional. This hotel is big on selling timeshare. It had a salesy environment thought. It was clear that the important guests were the one that were "members " the rest of us just that " others". I am not sure I would stay here again. The food was pretty appalling.

Pictures are deceiving

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Rooms are in disrepair, staff are unhappy, not very clean
Location: NOT SURE
This hotel was disappointing from the moment we walked in, with so many beautiful quality properties around, it is old and dated.

first and only time we stayed at the Royal Solaris

Posted Aug 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
That was the first and only time we stayed at the Royal Solaris Los Cabos & Spa - All Inclusive Hotel service, food, drinks, amenities, and customer service are average if not below average. Cleanliness of room was also average since floors were with beach sand even after being mopped Be advised: If you leave your iPhone unattended in your room… IT WILL DISAPPEAR!!!! My daughter left hers between the pillow and the matters, and no one “saw it”… We asked room service, laundry department, front desk, and hotel security for it, and no found it… So, it vanished from the room!!!!

Nice resort and super friendly staff!

We just came back from our 7 nights stay and we had a fabulous time. Everything was great. The entertainment team was so much fun at the pool. We loved the nightly entertainment too! There were a lot of different food to eat. We didn't bring dressed up shoes so we couldn't eat at Marco Polo and Panchos (no shorts or flip plops allowed). We had a wonderful time and would love to come back! Our kids (6 & 8) had so much fun.

The hotel was nice, it was very muggy this time.

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: The staff very courteous and friendly
Cons: Softer beds, having events where everybody could be included.
Location: Really not that much.
My first time here at this hotel, room was clean bed was a bit hard. The food was great but was wondering why royal Solaris caters to people with time shares we were paying customers too but it always seems they were catering to the time share people having special events to which if you weren't a time share person you could not attend but I guess that's your policy I guess next time I'll have to try another hotel.
