Property is nice looking but if you want to sleep before 1100pm bring ear plugs. everything is convenient as far as booking tours and activities but there is always an additional charge when you get to the activity.

They lack in customer service. We had a big group and did early check in and they still out our group in different buidlings far from each other. My parents are senior citizens and they couldnt switch rooms to a forst floor since they had no room. We had younger kids with us and put us in a floor with all young teenagers screaming and yelling in the hallways. Our fridge wasnt working and our toilet wouldnt flush. They kept saying they would fix it but took almost 2 days. They didnt compensate anything for us. This hotel I believe would be 1.5 starts hotel.

Very good experience, except we saw a very drunk guy and the security guard (which they don’t belong to RIU hotel) didn’t do much to try to help him. He put him in facing up on the beach bed, (you cannot do that because if they throw up, that’s the end for that person) Very rude when we tried to tell him about the importance of not doing that. Anyways, other than that everyone else very polite!

The staff were very friendly, especially the ones in the dining areas. The place is very safe. They have security everywhere. The pools were great although not up to code standards in the USA. They really need rails. Also slides in kids area end in shallow waters and very close to edge of pool. The food was ok. I was very worried after reading the reviews about the food but honestly there were some good options. You just need to try and figure out what you like. Food was readily available throughout the day. It was just nice to spend time with the family. The entertainment at night was nice.

The property was great. Great for adults and kids. Several areas for just adults but also several areas for the the whole family. If food is a huge part of your vacation (like mine is) I would recommend staying somewhere else. The steakhouse was good (if you can get in) and the American restaurant was good. Other than that the food was below average. Property also doesn’t do room service which is super unfortunate. But if food isn’t a huge deal then this resort is a great place to stay.

Excellent staff, food, premises, and we had a great time. Coms: needs a game room for teens. My 19yo had plenty to do. My 15yo had nothing to do after dinner. They have 3 p. tables and baskets game, and foosball but it is in the sports bar. The pool tables takes $2 but in PESOS! Under 18 teens stay up and they should have a place(No Alcohol Room!) w curiosity poo tables and games.
