Dog Unfriendly

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: Breakfast was free and good
Cons: Nothing is possible unless they can physically move the hotel.
Location: All we did is eat and sleep
We stayed here bec. It was on our way to Vt. And "dog friendly". There was no grass anywhere on hotel grounds to walk dogs. The hotel was directly on a highway which was not good to walk dogs. They charged us a dog fee, for nothing. They called us when we went out for dinner at 7 pm bec. Our dogs were barking and told us the next time to take them. Not exactly dog friendly and it was early. The room was adequate.

One night at Ramsey

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Ok for one night, the hotel is clean, that was the important thing. But for the breakfast you should have fruits and be careful when there is big eater around that does not left food for others!

best motor hotel

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The people, helpful told us where things were, for instance the eating room (breakfast), the ice machine etc.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: We stayed in the Wild Life park at Franklyn Lakes. It gave us time to see people and animals and breath NJ.
I kid you not! We were treated very well. We book a month ago, got early admittance, a beautiful room! A breakfast which included eggs meat and cereal. What is not to like?

Close to New York City

Posted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Gas station nearby. Great big mall nearby within walking distance.
Cons: Sound insulation needed or perhaps guests need to be a bit considerate.
Location: Hotel was chosen because of its proximity to New York City. But there are plenty of malls, restaurants and gas stations nearby.
We have stayed at this hotel before and therefore we were well prepared for the pro's and con's. Check - in - We got there at 4:10 pm and check in was very good. Please be aware that this hotel has no elevators. So you have to climb the stairs to get to the second floor. Parking was ample in the evening. Room was very pleasant. The A/C was a bit noisy but at least it was working. We went to a restaurant far away and returned and saw that the parking lot was filled with cars. There is a restaurant nearby which has its parking lot at the hotel. But fortunately we were able to get a space. The television was good, had a lot of channels. The bathroom had plenty of hot water. The place was clean. The refrigerator was unplugged but we were able to plug it in and turn it on. They even had a microwave which was quite helpful. You can also make tea/coffee in your room which is also very helpful. We went to sleep and woke up around 5:30 am because there was a noise that kept us awake for one hour. It sounded like an alarm clock but it was hard to pinpoint the source and mercifully the noise stopped after one hour. That was quite disturbing. We went to breakfast and it was absolutely fabulous to have a decent breakfast. Trip to NYC was pleasant and uneventful. It was a good experience.

Next to the station

Posted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: location, shower, bathtub, coffee machine, checkout time
Location: The area is totally safe. You need to have a car to go anywhere in the area.
I chose this hotel because it's next to the train station. The room is clean and comfortable. The shower has enough water pressure. The coffee and juice machine in the front desk is available 24/7. The 12 p.m. check out allowed me to sleep in. It was night time when I checked in. It was hard to reach the front desk receptionist. Other than that, this is one of the best options if you're visiting this area.
