"We were the first guests of the season and our hosts were wonderful! The space is smallish and clean with a comfy bed and excellent a/c. It was just enough space for my husband and I. The apartment is right on the lake and has a fantastic view. Nothing is super close out there (as is the case with most of the Finger Lakes region), but there are some great restaurants in the nearby towns, beautiful state parks and tons of water activities. Highly recommend staying at Carmella and Rod's place!"

"So rare to find a lake house with a decent yard! Enjoyed the dock and boats and fishing was great for most ... The loft is a climb but the house lacks nothing. Great week vacation."

"Our family had a wonderful time staying at this house. We brought our kayaks and also used the canoe on the property. Owasko Lake is beautiful and pretty calm. The sunsets from this property are amazing! We really enjoyed all the sitting areas - the kitchen, front room facing the lake, the 2 picnic tables out back and on side, the covered outdoor area if you want to get out of the sun, and out back by the fire pit facing the lake. Everything was wonderful and we would definitely go back again....

"We felt like we were in the middle of peaceful woods with our very own lake to skip rocks on. Then we jumped in our car and we were in the cutest town, Skaneateles, with shops restaurants and a great place to walk in just a 4 minute car ride! My kids want us to buy the cabin!"

Just a few things minor things that can be improved are: - The pool heater wasn’t working for us - Cleanliness could have been a bit better, there were a bunch of dead flies in the kitchen. - A house rules book with check-out directions would be helpful. - The living room carpet smelled of pee a bit. Overall we would absolutely stay here again! There are so many great activities that the house offers, I really appreciated...
