“Spring Break in Mendocino”

I was looking for a nice quiet place to stay and found it at Hill House. The staff went out of the way to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definately stay there again.

“A Charming Inn!”

This inn was pretty and gave the feeling of old world charm. The breakfast was lacking in variety, but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

“Surprise”

Slightly out of the mainstream Mendocino, a long walk, but delightful "Cabot Cove" atmosphere. Food service is going through a re-invention, but service and food in their sister Mendocino Hotel property was excellent.

“Very nice place”

Great location and views, wonderful gardens, and very friendly staff. The only drawback about staying in this hotel was the continental breakfast. We had a choice of either bagels or bagels and only plain bagels at that. Minor drawback though - overall very nice place and I will stay there again.

This hotel was everything we expected, only better. We stayed in one room with two double beds (2 adults and 2 kids, 7&10). The beds were very comfortable and the room was large and clean. The whole place is furnished in last century style, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. It was also very quiet. The view of the ocean in the distance is spectacular (if your room has such a view, as ours did). The entire town of Mendocino is within walking distance. The staff is efficient, helpful, and pleasant. Breakfast is just continental, but there are waffles and the dining room is superb. What a great place! Next time we go to Mendocino, we will definitely stay there again.

“Hill House Inn- Home away from Home.”

The breakfast is a little less than desired, bagles waffels and juice/coffee. But the hotel was SO wonderful! And the staff was so pleasant! Just a short walk down the hill to mendocino!! I LOVED the Hillhouse!!

“Birthday Weekend”

Great hotel with a wonderful view from our ocean view room. Short walk down the hill to Mendocino to shop, eat or visit a museum. Bad cell service so they provide free nationwide long distance.

“Quaint but comfortable”

We stayed here with our two kids recently. Wasn't expecting a lot but it was really charming. Huge room. Nice and quiet. Definitely splurge for breakfast; the dining room is has a beautiful view.
