"I was in town for work and this studio was in the absolute best location for me. 20 minutes from work and family and only few minutes to downtown Venice. The studio was in a perfect location. It's in a very quaint little neighborhood. It was very clean and the property taken care of. Laurie reached out a few times to make sure my stay was going well. She was very attentive to her guest. I will 100% be booking here agian for my trips."

"We werent sure what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. It was just oerfect for the two of us. My husband enjoyed the wicker love seat on the front porch area. Nice location. Not far from the Venice Beach area. There was also a nuce little resraurant within walking distance. We will definitly come back. Very reasonably priced. "Everything about this property was perfect for us. We had the whole place to ourselves for almost our entire stay which was lovely. The walk to the beach was perfectly fine, even when loaded down. The beach itself is small, but never crowded. I would definitely come back to stay at this property!"

"Terry is a wonderful host who cares about his guests and goes way above and beyond to accommodate all requests. When I asked about good restaurants and directions to the town where I planned to walk, he pulled out two bikes and off we went for a personal tour of a very quaint small town just a few blocks away! Over my 3-day stay I went to every place he recommended all were great! His attention to detail in the cozy and quiet room made the stay delightful. Thank you Terry for being a great host!"

"We were in town for work and only needed a place to sleep for two nights. This place served its purpose just fine. I do wish there had been a ceiling fan in the bed room and would had preferred different sheets as these were very rough. Three of the electrical outlets did not work which was frustrating. The home also smelt very musty but a few cheap air fresheners fixed that. The property was clean and felt safe. We also enjoyed relaxing by the canal in the afternoon."

"This was exactly as described in the listing. Perfect location to get away from busy downtown and have your own peace and quiet. Balcony and patio were perfect and views of sunrise and moon on water were beautiful. Only downfall is right nextdoor to restaurant with evening service only. People on their patio until 1030pm and could hear their conversations. Plus smell of food. But this wouldn't stop us from staying there again. "Small one bedroom as described. Attached to a home so no thermostat for adjusting and water pressure somewhat low. Kitchen well supplied. Clean and unexpected welcome basket full of Sarasota items and snacks which were appreciated. Didn't have to purchase paper supplies. Slept ok on the one mattress bed. There were plenty of pillows available. Would recommend this location update the mattress quality."

"I have stayed at this location at least a dozen times over the past few years. The staff is excellent. The rooms are clean but the building itself is in need of repair. Some of the upper floors appear treacherous-some had construction supports while I was last there. Rugs are covering upper walkways that are in need of stain etc. Several restaurants have closed on the property so options there are dwindling. Still plenty of boutiques left if you like to shop. The rooms are great, I love that...
