Close to many eating establishments and a large HEB. Nice family/property managers. Would definitely book this property again. Since location is in southeast Austin, guests like us who arrive from the south will miss a lot of the awful Austin drivers and traffic (where are you DPS troopers and Austin PD?) "This is a comfortable apartment well located in the fun town of San Marcos. Plenty of good restaurants and other amenities within walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped (only pod coffee maker...we prefer drip fwiw) overall. Laundry facilities a plus. Two small quibbles--hot water was a bit lacking for our group. "It was a cute little cottage. We didn't think it was cleaned...and having little ones, its important. We pulled the futon out and were surprised by all the crumbs that were in the crease. Also the fans were full of dust and a lounge chair was tore. Instructions were out dated..or not for that cottage. They instructed to leave dishes in dishwasher but theres no dishwasher. "If you are looking for a simple, no frills place to stay that is clean and comfortable, this place fits the bill. Bed was comfy, shower was great, bathroom was small but clean. No carpet in the room but the floors were clean. Our room actually had a small kitchen! Only downside is the elevator had a funky smell and hallway on the second floor smelled like spices. Otherwise the stay was great."
