We only needed a place to sleep we were coming into town late and we were leaving early to go to the African safari Wildlife Park. We wanted an inexpensive room. That is what we got and that is what we paid for! When we got into our room it smelled awful. The wallpaper was falling off the wall. The beds are rock hard. And the carpet was disgusting! Not to mention that this motel is located right next to a train track and an airport that were busy the night we stayed. We would definitely not return to this Motel.

Bad mold in the bathroom, foul smell in the room and would not eat anything prepared on the 20 year old stove in the room. Very dated motel with very little upkeep. I've stayed at places that cost less and were much nicer.

Cheapest stay in town...

Pros: Cheap
Cons: Renovate.
Location: Close to Catawba. Not far from downtown.
You get what you pay for, here. The place needs a real overhaul. Particleboard bolted to who knows what made up the vanity. There was mold IN one of the pictures on the wall, and it was just sort of "ew." Nothing outright terrible, but still pretty bad.

It's what you should expect out is a cheap costing room. It's not high class but if you're just looking to sleep there at night it works for you.

4 people booked and only 2 towels. the TP roll was used and practically empty. they didn't clean the room daily they knocked and asked if I needed anything. he handed me new trash bags and pointed me to the dumpster.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Could get a manager that spoke English, and from the way the help talked, he must yell a lot at them if they do something wrong.
Location: Loacation was ok, not far from main drag. Could be cleaned up outside and made a little more presentable, and mow the grass, road sign needed work.
The manager spoke very POOR english, there was a mixup with the way Expedia entered the info, so we waited for them to finally figure out they could check us in and deal then deal with Expedia. We stayed two nights, the 2nd evening when we arrived back at our rooms, the beds were not made, no clean towels or anything. Donuts were cold like they had been frozen, and the coffee was weak and awful. We will not recommend that hotel, and will not stay there again, and will not book through Expedia again.

Close to fishing spots...pillows felt like paper towel rolls and the beds were rock hard. Pool was not open...after Labor Day. No cont brkfast.
