"This lovely apartment is clean, recently renovated, fairly priced, and very well located in the center of Barrí Vell (old town) Girona. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops are all nearby. The only slight downside (and no fault of the property managers) was the noise. We stayed in the 2nd floor apartement (first floor above the street level) and it was quite loud at night. "The property is beautiful, set in the middle of the cobbled streets, in a building with beautiful entry doors, very historic. Quiet at night and safe, with multiple locks to gain entry from street. The property is a place I would stay at again if I came back to Girona. We had some minor language barrier issues with the host during booking and the check in process. The host sent correspondence about arrival and check-in in Spanish, and when I requested English (via email one week prior to trip)...

"First of all, I have to say one night in Olot is not long enough, but Lia and Enric were fantastic hosts and made sure we made the most of our short visit. The flat is fantastic and I can’t imagine a better location. The pool is WONDERFUL. The whole building is magical and comfortable and just really a home away from home. "David's place was a wonderful base for exploring Girona for the first time! There is really no need for a car, as you are right in the heart of Old Town. So lovely to plan the day while looking out at the birds and the river, to see a festival band pass by in the street below from the back balcony, or watch the lights on the bridges at night. (If you are renting bikes, there are stairs to carry them up – but the location could not be better and is worth it as long as the bikes are light enough...

"Nos alojamos con 7 amigos durante un fin de semana largo y disfrutamos mucho de la casa. la propiedad es hermosa y perfecta para un grupo. ¡Nuestro favorito era la gran piscina fresca de manantial de montaña! La anfitriona fue muy amable e incluso nos trajo tomates y pepinos frescos de su jardín. Antes de irnos, recorrió el resto de la enorme casa que también se puede alquilar. Es un hermoso espacio, ideal para una gran fiesta. ¡Definitivamente regresaré!"

"Was a lovely country stay after 2 weeks of city stays. It was just the break we needed. Place has everything you need and the pool was great. Dispite being on the property with others it was very private. We were especially happy to spend time patting the two calm dogs who spend their days laying in the yard. Its a short drive to some great sites in Besalu, and Figures as well as Girona. Highly recommended."
