We are getting towards the end of 10 weeks island hopping, and stayed on Santorini for 3 days. We found the island very busy compared to the smaller ones we had previously visited. There were frequently 4 cruise ships in the port which meant that the streets were very congested. All the museums are good, we particularly liked the Folk Art Museum. An oasis of calm near the main square is the Pelican Restaurant.

Mark & Joanna Studios is a family run business that ticks all the boxes for us. Very helpful and friendly staff, nothing is to much trouble for them. We will definitely be returning in the future. The studio we stayed in was very clean, with an great balcony for sun worshippers. Only a shorts stroll into the towns beaches/bars and tavernas. Perrissa is an ideal holiday location on Santorini, as local travel agents can arrange all your excursions for sight seeing at very competitive prices.

I would highly recommend Artemis Village. It really is like being looked after by a loving aunt and uncle. They both work extremely hard to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. You can rent scooters/4 wheelers, book tickets for tours, get rides to and from the airport or town, get iced coffee (which is pretty hard to find on the island), get advice, check your email, etc all on the property. It also a great pool to relax at when your tired of the sand. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hotel a little off the beaten path, who wants to experience Greek culture.

We loved staying at Maria's Place!! Hotel is in a wonderful location in Oia, Santorini. Just a short (3 minute) walk away from the main part of town, which was nice because it was very quiet. Beautiful view from our balcony. Very comfortable bed, nice shower and bathtub. Wonderful pool! I have nothing negative to say about this place, and will definitely stay here again if ever in Santorini.

We had an excellent experience at the Anastasia Princess. The staff was very friendly and knew us all by name. The help they provided in experiencing the island was wonderful. The rooms were well kept and nicely decorated. The pools were beautiful. While the hotel is not directly on the beach, it is only a quick walk around the corner to the black sand beach. Having travelled to the other areas on the island which seemed to be much more crowded, we were very happy with our choice. In addition, our friends who had decided to stay elsewere were so impressed with the hotel and staff that they moved to our hotelonce a room was available.
