Great location

Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Location and the building, the beautiful tiles and fountains
Cons: Have consistent customer service. Some staff acted like it was a bother to answer questions
Location: great places to eat, catch the Red tour bus, walking to the cathedrals, super location
Once we found the hotel and parking was settled after an hour , it was a nice place to stay for 2 days and see Sevilla. The lobby and outdoor patio is beautiful.

good location

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: Not paying for the safe More space to hang clothes
Location: We were 5 minutes away from all the shops and within walking distance to the cathedral and the Alcazar palace
Enjoyed my stay. The single room was comfortable but main issue was that there wasn't enough wardrobe space to hang my clothes. Breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly. Had to pay for the key to the safe and the daily rate was €4

Not so nice hotel in Seville historical center

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Its location.
Cons: Staff could be more pleasant, need air fresheners ready to use for the room & bathroom to deal with the stench after it rains, & improve bfast food
Location: Alcazar, cathedral, and flamenco museum/school is close to this hotel (Flamenco is a must see!!)
a few bad experiences at this hotel. The woman at the hotel reception was not so pleasant. They only have 7 parking spots in their garage, which if you are driving to the hotel through the very narrow streets of the historical center of Seville, you should probably call this hotel in advance as when I went, all their hotel parking spots were already taken. They made us park at a parking garage that was attached to a department store. We then had to take a voucher from the hotel to the parking garage to pay the hotel price for parking. The room we had smelled like garbage. The hotel told us that when it rains, that is what the room starts to smell like. We could not change our rooms, and they suggested we turn the Air Conditioning on, and open the windows. Lastly, the breakfast spread they had was OK. The glazed donut I decided to pick up and eat had about 5 strands of long dirty blond hair stuck to the side of it, which was extremely gross.

8 nights in Seville

Posted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: The position cleanliness and helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
Location: Very close to all the action area very safe with plenty of bars and restaurants in a very local area not touristy
Wonderful position for seeing Seville. Comfortable hotel with very helpful staff good value for money with free good wifi also only 20€ for late checkout, Only one very small fault room we had was a little small and dark but that was not a problem as we spent most of our time out and about and the aircon worked perfectly for a good nights sleep

Convenient for walking to centre. Lots of small restaurants nearby. Excellent bus service, number C5, 2minutes walk from hotel goes around all the small back streets to centre and back again.Highly recommend this.

Great weekend accommodation

We were visiting friends who live on the same street, so the location was excellent for our purpose. And as we didn't spend much time in the hotel, it was real value for money, with clean rooms and comfy beds.

Reasonable hotel, easy walking distance to city.

Posted Apr 29, 2014
Good hotel within reasonable walking distance to main attractions. Lovely courtyard for breakfast (if you can cope with cigarette smoke first thing in the morning)! Staff were courteous and happy to assist with queries. Our room was small (as expected) but had a damp, musty smell which the staff said was coming from the air conditioning unit. Due to location, taxis cannot collect you directly from the hotel but it is an easy walk to local square for taxi access.

Average value

Though difficult to find, this hotel has lovely public bars, lounges and court yard (though it is a shame that smoking is allowed). Some hotel staff were good but others very surly. Early breakfast essential to have a full choice. Rooms are dark due to shuttered windows that don't let much light or fresh air in. Noise experienced from adjoining bathrooms. Cleaning and daily maid service was exceptionally good. All the sights are within walking distance as Seville is a relatively small city. Would I recommend this hotel? Maybe. Would I return to stay again? No.

Reasonable value

The hotel was reasonable value for the price paid. The hotel was clean and comfortable without frills. The breakfast was again reasonable but nothing special.

Although the room was well appointed, because of its location the room had little natural light which made it feel very claustrophobic. The staff on the reception desk spoke very little English and I had some difficulty making myself understood. Although there was a bar in the reception lounge I never saw it staffed and it always looked closed. I would also have appreciated tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which I thought was fairly standard these days. The wi-fi also did not seem to work and, because of the language barrier I was unable to make the staff understand what I was asking. Although the location of the hotel is very central it is in a rather rundown area and I felt a little nervous if I was out after dark. I got the impression that the Spanish no longer really want tourists and therefore are unwilling to make an effort
