nice from far but far from nicePosted Sep 7, 2013
The outside of the INN is very nice. The grounds are well maintained. The common areas within the building need a lot of repairs to the carpet, wood moldings and wall paper exterior doors that barley close. The king suite has a nice view. The room appears to be dilapidated. It was difficult to sleep due to the loud water piping system. Most likely from water hammer and poorly installed piping. We expected better conditions. I suggest the owners reinvest funds to make the necessary repairs to the building. We will not return.

Good location in wine countryPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Room size and location
Cons: Staff could be a little more welcoming and helpful
Location: Plenty of wineries and restaurants nearby
The inn is nice and good location. It has a few quirks but the rooms/bathroom are very spacious and nice. The AC in our unit was incredibly loud and sleep was not an option. Front desk was apologetic and said they would fix. Breakfast was average and the wines were palatable. Make your dinner arrangements prior to arrival and be sure to stop for any extras as there is not a convenience store nearby for water or other types of alcohol.

A Mixed BagPosted Aug 11, 2013
Pros: We enjoyed the beautiful views and the friendly staff. The breakfast was a delight. Wait and support staff were friendly and efficient.
Cons: Neither sink worked properly. The air conditioning came in and out with alarming frequency. The small refrigerator sounded off with a loud buzz all ni
Location: Restaurants and wine tastings were nearby, as well as shows.
We were pleased with the staff and with the wine tasting available. We spent the night here because it was near the Bobby Caldwell concert at Thornton. We could also hear a concert from the winery across the road that sounded like a lot of fun.

Overpriced property with deteriorating infrastructPosted Jul 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was clean and comfortable but overpriced. The air conditioner hummed loudly, the bed wobbled and the toilet seat was loose. The cable service only had six channels. The breakfast selection limited and the food bland. I would not stay there again.

Not worth the pricePosted May 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
This area is beautiful and our view from the balcony was wonderful. But there were no services at the hotel (the dinner scheduled for weekend nights did not take place) except breakfast. The breakfast menu was very limited. The vending machine was out of many items,. The room was o.k. although a bit awkward.

Quiet GetawayPosted May 21, 2013
Pros: The view from my room was beautiful and the bottle of wine was nice.
Cons: Besides the obvious dated wallpaper and carpet, the staff could have been more welcoming. They didn't seem excited to see me.
Location: Great wine country to explore with lots of fun restaurants and tasting rooms.
I had only one night to spend in the Temecula Wine Country, and I picked The Winery at Churon. It was very expensive, so I was expecting service and style to match the price. Unfortunately, the hotel was in need of a major makeover. From the peeling wallpaper and rippled carpet in the common area my heart sunk! My room was nice and clean, but the radio didn't work and the TV remote was dated as was the phone by the bed.

Nice romantic weekend getaway hotel.Posted Apr 20, 2013
Pros: The view, the wine and breakfast that the hotel includes in the price of the room, the fireplace in the room, and the large size of the room.
Cons: Smell of old cigarette smoke in the room.
Location: Ideal for our wine tour
Although our hotel stay was brief we enjoyed a wine tasting there. The bottle of wine in our room was a nice touch and it was great to get breakfast the next morning free of charge. The room was very large but it did smell a bit of old cigarette smoke. Not bad enough for us not to get a good night's sleep though. The view from our room was very pretty. Can't beat a view of the vineyards and beautiful fountain right outside your patio door. The staff were very friendly and the Uncorked Wine tour we went on started at this hotel so it was very convenient for us. We would stay here again if we come back to Temecula.
