"great hotel in a quiet part of Tokyo"
This is a beautiful, luxe hotel. Room was very large, modern and comfortable, with easy access to the Tokyo subway system. The only downsides were that it was expensive (although not out of line with the quality of the room, service, etc.), and that it is in a part of town that is pretty quiet at night. If you are looking for the action and excitement, it is not in this part of town. But it is convenient to the subway that will get you there.

"Best hotel in Tokyo."
The sunroute hotel is by far the best hotel I've been in. The staff were amazing, beautiful and spoke English. They helped us with everything we needed. The room was super clean, small, but just right. The hotel is 7 minutes away from Shinjuku station, which is perfect.

"A good 5 minute walk to the heart of the city."
We took the Haneda-Shinjuku train and right out of the Shinjuku's JR Station is the taxi's waiting spot. The taxi took us to the Hotel district side and using his cellphone called Listel Shinjuku who promptly redirected us to the exact location. The driver gave us the difference of the taxi charges opposed to the total amount showing in his taxi meter. By the way, he took care loading and off loading all our luggage, this alone reminds me, I am really in Japan. We got checked-in right at the 2pm schedule. Our room was immaculately clean. Love the amenities like, kimono pajamas, sleepers, teas, the deep soaking tub, the bidet, the fridge, the pant's presser, the pillows which are hard and soft sided. The city view from our room is also spellbinding in the early morning. The free-wifi is absolutely top of our needs. The room service and customer service made the difference.

"Good cheap Hotel, Great thing to experience!"
The staff were friendly, the room clean and cheap. Had free WiFi and clean shared common rooms. Shoes are not allowed in the facility, and are taken off upon exiting the elevator, rest easy though as there are individual lockers for your shoes, and slippers are provided in your locker. There were also disposable tooth brushes and an ample amount of face towels. They also provide a set of Pajamas, and a towel for showering. Men and women are on different floors. The only down side for men is that the shower is on the bottom floor, close to the front desk, meaning that you need to come down in your bath robe to shower. My bf said that the slippers they provided got wet from walking down in the shower/restroom area, so flip flops are a must. All in all we had a good stay.
