"Great central location but couple of issues - lights in bathroom didn't work, there was a massive ridge in the middle of the floor (trip hazard) & the fridge was not working - in fact it was running very hot & there was a burning smell in the unit (plastic was warping inside fridge around light) - a clear fire risk. When informed Smartflats simply thanked us for the info & made no attempt. to remedy or compensate. Poor service as we rented the apartment to prepare our own food & were limited....

Climbed two floors and found that there was construction happening. Went back down and called customer service in the middle of night sitting on the high street bench. The owner first said the check in code would be sent to me 7 days before we arrive. I sent an email / website message to follow up 7 days ahead, no response. I sent another email / website message 2 days before, no response, i sent an email / message one day before, still no response. So ignoring me. The day i arrived, we were locked out, i tried to call them with our Canada cell...

"The location is excellent, just a 5 mins walk to the central train station and shopping district. Staff are friendly and polite. However during our stay, our one bedroom apartment TV was spoilt on the 2nd day. Informed the staff and they cannot solve the problem, so left us with no entertainment at all throughout our stay for the next 4 days. "
