The room provided basic needs. However, we were not impressed with the bed: it was hard to get into (I'm short) and difficult to move around in. There also were not adaquate towels, we had to ask for more.

Charming little cottage with interesting naturalistic touches

The room was really nice. Unfortunate that they don’t wipe the outdoor detritus off the Adirondack chairs and balcony. We would have enjoyed using that feature of the room but the balcony and chairs were filthy. Everything else was great.

The Hotel and amenities were fine. The Jazz trio was great. I did like the fact that old hotel has been renovated and had additions made to it. It is in a nice area, with old town feel and buildings. Being in the trades, and working in old homes and buildings, I can appreciate the old buildings still being used. I just should have inquired a bit more when it came to the bathroom in our room. It was small and still had the old world size, toilet and tub. Though it was updated with new tile and, sink and fixtures. Having a window to look out onto the street and the Green with the Gazebo, across the street would have been a plus. I would visit again, being sure to ask for those details the next time.
